Kanadie, thx for the Blanco info. It does make one appreciate how articulate Adam is, yet again. You know, like, what I'm sayin? His success cannot be denied, and I hope that Adam benefits.

#FunFact In less than 12 hours, the Post on Adam's new song has become the fourth highest post in PopCultureWhore.com history! ETA: just went to have a look - I see 11 comments ??? #lowexpectations or am I just being really obtuse old? Hi! I'm not seeing where it says his is the fourth highest post, so I'm at a loss to speculate. It doesn't look like a big site, but what do I know?  |

Check this out..it will give you a bit more idea how significant a tweet by a writer/producer like Benny Blanco is in this current contemporary hit radio top 40 game. This could be the one that helps put Adam where he deserves to be! He knows his "smashes"! I generally do not get that excited about collaborations -- because major label pop albums are filled with them. And it is easy to focus on the big hits -- but big name collaborations do not always mean that a song will even be good. But even when this collaboration was just a rumor/fan-hope, I was excited about the potential of Adam+Benny Blanco++++ Something really feels right about this one. And with all the tweets from the studio about this one -- it better be good!! this dude is adorable... he can't speak but he feels music... that + Adam's propensity towards all things meaningful make for a great potential hit! (I am ready to discard the bubble-gum-ness of the mega hits with Kesha, Katy, etc. to the shallowness of the said artists...) |

He's definitely not all that articulate. I found the first video interesting for the behind-the-scenes look. This second one, though, oh my. I'm glad you listened to it, but I couldn't make it through. He seems incoherent at times. I hate to make assumptions, but he seems really tired or really SOMETHING else. Glad he likes to have the voice prominent though. |

Popping in. I was talking to my girlfriend this morning and she is a hugh country fan and listens to the local country station. The DJ was talking. now I'm going to paraphrase: Remember American Idol and Adam Lambert as well as Danny Gokey. I don't know who won? who won that season? well he continues to mention that Adam has released a new single for his upcoming album. OOL They PLAYED IT!!!!!! Station 92.5 which is a country station. I'll be damn! ALso Q102 played WWFM last night which hasn't been played for ages. THings are picking up. I'm so ready ;DPut "Outlaw" in the title of a song....and country will play it. Adam can be the next cross over star if he would only write about trains and his mama |
