No Freddie call and response? Talon ain't going to be happy! seriously, this was really surprising as the audiences everywhere love that bit! Maybe Bri and Roger decided to wean that second bit of Freddie out of the show to emphasize the fact that Adam is their new frontman. IDK!!! Just a guess! May be Brian and Roger took that one review a few days ago to heart...if so, I have no problem with it

For me, the Freddie Call and Response was the only jarring moment of a spectacular show. It was also a little creepy. Not long before this, Freddie appears on the screen with Brian in Love of my Life....more appropriate and enough to bring him to the forefront of minds. But almost by definition, you can't have two frontmen....it's been, long since, time to choose, Bri and Roger! . No disrespect to Freddie....I am a great fan....and sorry, Talon....just the way it strikes me....

I think there have been 2 reviews in the past week that in some way mentioned, too much Freddie - time to move on.

Wow! What a night in Boston! Catching up on vids today. I must say that his GTML floor crawl made me think of the days of the FYE tour when he did lots of sex playing. I LOVE IT!!! Hope he keeps it up. His voice is definitely in great form. I know there have been some comments about his skipping some of the glory notes lately. But hey. The songs are still powerful beyond belief. And he's plenty more show to do. Doesn't hurt to give the vocal cords a little rest.
I have to agree that the Brian/Freddy "duet" thing was maybe a step too far. It did feel a little creepy to me too. I think Adam's homage speech is fine. And the video of Freddy during BoRhap is fine. But come on. Adam is the front man. He's stellar. Let him do his part to the fullest.
BTW, I went to see Paul McCartney last night! Huge outdoor venue. He just turned 75 in June. The man can still ROCK the place like nobody's business. The audience was on its feet singing and dancing the whole time. He was funny and sweet and had incredible stamina. Loved the show. So much different from Queen, but equally epic!
