I know Adam has to address the Freddie issue, but I really wish he'd find a way to do it w/o actually saying the words, "He's no Freddie!" Because every single review says it now. "Honor Freddie and his music" "Freddie was iconic" "I'm a fan, just like you" All those things would be fine. But I am so so sick of every review almost using it as their opening line. And he is no Freddie! And Freddie was no Adam Lambert! Duh!!

Has anyone seen a RGG vid from Washington where Adam leans forward and kisses one of Terrance's relatives at the barrier? Someone said that he did and in TALC's vid I can see a black arm and he leans forward which I'm sure is the kissing moment but it's obscured by someone's phone. If there's another vid from a different angle showing it I'd love to see it. Bamafan posted this tweet, where it's clearly visible: Lilybop lilybop2010 😘 "Radio Gaga" Queen + Adam Lambert 7/31/2017 Washington DC via rangersdcfan youtu.be/u0YStr296LE Thanks, Katy, what a lovely moment.

The FLD we'll always co-exist with QAL. Can't Get away from it. But Adam is in control in how it's presented yes.
Its funny I think ppl underestimate Adams theatre background when it comes to the phenomenon that is QAL. Look at Wwtlf for instance. The Theatrics, the drama etc. Look how consumed Adam is by the end of a song, like he's in character. I really believe a Adams brought theatrics back to the music game, and Queen. What made Queen, well Queen. Was the drama, the theatrics, the show. I think I recall Freddie saying something to the lines of. This ain't a live performance of our studio album. But a live theatrical show. For me Paul was a departure. And it just wasent Queen. But. Imo, Adam has revitalised the Queen franchise. And brought them back to life.

I have 1 Nashville QAL ticket available, Section 101, Electronic transfer, any offer accepted or free to a good home. Don't want it to go to waste!
I also have a good Dallas ticket for sale, but my sister says she will go if no one buys it. She is a Freddie purest who has not been impressed with the videos. But we all know that live is different!

I haven't posted in awhile, but I have been enjoying the posts and recaps of fellow Glamberts. Thank you all so much!!!! Well, I am on my way home from D.C. where I had the experience of seeing Queen + Adam Lambert with my daughter!!! It was a night to remember. What has been said previously is true- nothing compares to being there in person. The sound just permeates your being and the light show is really impressive. So, the audience..... very DIVERSE, very vocal and really into the entire concert . I saw very few people sitting. Almost everyone in my section stood, cheered and sang for over 2 hours!!! Loved it. We had an aisle between us and the stage so there were no obstructions at all. We could have seen everything without standing. The only distraction were the fans who had to leave midconcert due to drinking those 24oz beers. LOL Adam and Queen are a match made in heaven. Each member is fabulous. Adam's vocals were on fire last night and he was really hitting the high notes. I seldom watch Brian and Roger's solo performances on YouTube, but I was blown away by both. The lasers and special effects during Brian's performance were unbelievable and magical! Brian has the energy of someone half his age and Roger's drum duel was really impressive. The PS huge screens made it easy to see all the performers on stage. My only complaint was it was hard to see Adam during WWTLF and parts of GDML. Needless to say, my daughter is now an Adam and Queen fan, even if they have never been her cup of tea. Going to this concert with her, wearing our matching Q+ AL shirts (Women's sizes run small} cheering and singing the music of Queen and Adam's vocals made this a very memorable evening!! PS Hope I posted this correctly. It's been awhile.

Thanks, Katy, what a lovely moment. It's probably hard to make someone out in that crowd, looks like he almost missed her and then got back.

Thanks again to all who are posting the great picture, videos, and the re-caps are great to read. WhenI read these recent posts, I notice more of we think Freddie should be acknowledged but Adam needs to do it in some way that does not put himself down and perhaps calling Freddie a god is setting an impossibly high standard. One of the main problems is that p, as we have talked about before, if someone repeats a thing too much, more and more people are prone to believe it. So then, Adam is presented with the possibility that even the younger viewers will come to believe it to be so, and etc... (I was a college professor for 26 years until a few years ago, and even the younger and some of the older ones are quite impressionable, so we cannot say for sure that even people in that age group will make up their minds: just look at some of the more recent postings under Freddie videos)
Now there is, of course nothing at all wrong with preferring Freddie over Adam, as we discussed. I love them both. However, if Adam "handicaps himself, each person might not be able to form his/her own opinion (and even decide to love them both equally for different reasons).
It would seem to me that entering Europe would be a perfect and logical place to still acknowledge such a worthy person as Freddie while still presenting himself as a fan or something. It is possible to build something up without tearing something else down.
My question is this: is there some way to get either these posts or even one post that sums up these sentiments in a clear, concise way to BrIan? We can't just rely upon Brian, Roger, or Adam (who might be too humble to even mention it?). I am out of town for a few days and am a bu pit surprised to get a signal here. Have a good day😀

But we all know that live is different! My brother, who introduced me to Queen when I was little, used to be the same way, a Freddie purist. I bought him a ticket to the Cleveland show and he has completely changed his mind about Adam. "Videos do not do him justice" and a something like "he's so effing good" were said more than once during and after that show. He has mad respect for Adam now that he didn't have before. That's all you can ask for, not to mention he said that the concert is probably the single best thing he'll do all year! That's the magic of QAL.
