Adam Lambert Leaves American Idol's 19 Management Adam Lambert is leaving the nest. The American Idol alum is leaving the reality show's 19 Entertainment management company and going on to Direct Management Group, who also manages Katy Perry. Adam isn't the first to leave 19 - winners Kelly Clarkson and Fantasia have also moved on to other management companies. Ties will not be completely broken though as 19 will still pocket the royalties from his five RCA Records releases, including a live and remix alum, as well as merchandise. He will remain a 19 Records artist though. A rep says: "Adam remains signed to 19 Recordings as he brings a new management team into his career. We look forward to continued success together." Yay, hi there relatively new fan, welcome. Yes, please share how you discovered Adam because we love to hear Adam discovery stories. I would love to share it . if Adam had not released Sleepwalker from GN live DVD to promote the DVD here in Germany, I wouldn't be here in this forum now. They played it a few times on the musical TV channel. I liked the song and I was like "Is this really live", I had heard no one else singing live like that. One day I realized, that i had not heard Sleepwalker for a week or two, but I really wanted to listen to it, so i searched for it in the Internet. After a few days I found myself on Youtube watching the videos from the GNT, AI and started to watch a few Interviews, realizing that he is nice, humble, charismatic, intelligent and honest with a beautiful eyes, which probably made the difference between "I'm a fan" and "I'm listening occasionally to his music" I knew WWFM before Sleepwalker, it was a hit here, but I had prejudices against pop-music and thought Adam is "just another pop-star, with an album packed with meaningless songs, all sounding the same". How wrong I was :-[ Till today Sleepwalker is my favorite song from FYE and I'm wondering why it has not been released in more countries to support the DVD. Thank you, aralid, for your story. Yours is the one we want to have repeated millions of times! Incidentally - yesterday I finally ordered the German edition of the SW single - mostly for the gorgeous cover, another addition to the Adam altar. This is just too precious Just like the pic of him wrestling with Neil in the ocean last year, only in this one Adam doesn't have a shirt on. The great thing about Adam is the more you hear and see about him, the more impressed you become. He's has been irresistible since infancy and how smart are we to have ferreted that out from just a simple, "Mama, life has just begun.....?" |

If it's just based on votes, I don't know if we can outdo the Bieber fans. VH1 clearly likes Adam, so I'm optimistic that he'll win this thing based on that, along with our votes. |
