I have to say that Moves like Jagger song is pretty catchy. I'm a bit conflicted because it's by Adam "I never heard of that song but I'm sure you sang it better" Levine. ??? On the other hand, it's another hit from Benny "dude we made a smash" Blanco! 8-) Yep, I'm with you!! Wow, Reihmer, a man who luvs Adam and appreciates the genius of Lucy too? Everyone in London. Hope you are all safe, as are your friends, family and loved ones. that this is happening during Gelly's vacation. I tried to find the flag smileys, Lulu, but couldn't. Were the moved? SusieFierce Thanks bb for thinking of me!! Hi everybody!! I'm good and I try to avoid the news and have as much fun as I can with my son. The situation is REALLY bad here. Today I left my friend's house in the morning and took the bus to go the tube and then go to the city. My friend lives in a rich suburb outside of London, but in order to go the city we have to pass from a not so nice neighborhood called Brixton. Well today the tube in Brixton was closed, the police was everywhere, shops burned, windows smashed from every store. The riots are getting worse and worse. I'm so sad from this situation but since I've lived it also a year ago in my country I honestly cannot let this affect me. I simply can't take it and it meant a lot for me to go on to this trip with my son. So I will try to avoid it, and continue our vacation. The troubles have not affected the city of London and I don't think they will. Tomorrow I'm going to the London Eye. I never wanted to go upthere but my son wanted so bad that I decided to do him the favor. I hope when I go I won't I feel like this reihmer You're doing an excellent job with the pictures!! OK enough I have to sleep now, it's 1.45 a.m. here. Good night!

Vivlite, yeah, furniture is good... once, in one of our international moves we got to wait a month for the furniture and car to arrive. Empty house without essentials is not really fun. Even our dogs wanted to move to our friends' house as they had a huge couch, LOL. This is frigging hilarious if you haven't seen it! As long as we are being OT on a slow news day, that "static dog" video reminded me of this pic of my granddaughter after she had been jumping on a trampoline ...

From convo with AuntieVenom on Twitter: AV: My coworker was gushing about Adam's BTM to me. She likes Adam's songs but wasn't a stan. She's now starting to be converted ;-D ME: Whoo hooo! Love hearing those stories! AV: I'm so teary-eyed happy right now!! ME: [More general squeeing and/or flailing] AV: Exactly! My coworker said " I get it now, I totally understand WHY you love him as much as you do, he's amazing"! :') OK,peeps, I have a my "victory" story to tell and FINALLY - it is my DD!!!! As I posted yesterday she ended up watching with me and was perplexed why it was all "gay"... today, she and I went for a long walk in the park and I decided to ferret out her opinion. A bit of background: she had watched all of AI8 Adam - I had shared all of it with her when she was home from college that spring and summer. Since then, she was patiently loading my ipod with all things Adam on her every visit because my ipod is synced to her laptop ( so all of it is on her laptop as well). But nothing touched her, no interest what so ever. Back to ealrier tioday: I started with thanking her for watching with me and telling her how great it was for me to watch AL together. Then I asked her to tell how the program looked to a "normal" person and not a crazy fan like me. The summary of her response: - Adam comes across extremely positive - Adam obviously had a very happy childhood and school years and did not have any harder time than anyone else in HS... (like everyone needs to find their own circle of friends and he found it in the theater group)...but if the story they presented helps anyone then it is all good - the program was overly dramatic with the empty lockers and cockroaches, but she understands that they had to make it that way for "good TV" sake... - He is very attractive and she wished they had not put that much "orange" make up on him... - She said that anyone watching the show would gain at least respect towards him if not more... - She was surprised that someone like him would go on AI, because "he must've known that there is absolutely no cred coming off of this show". She asked me if he was in Wicked (somehow she knew that?!) and that she thought that was a very respectable achievement, and that Idol would be a "step down" in her mind. Here I replied that the "gay" thing was obviously affecting his chances exactly the way Adam described... and that at the last concert in Canada he premiered his new song titled "Outlaws Of Love"...and that the lyrics and the rendition make me tear up every time I listen... - to this she said that SHE WANTS TO LISTEN TO IT !!!! - now this part is the TOTAL WIN!!!!!! I am ecstatic!!!.. and proud of our BB!!!! ... as I am writing this my DD's BF came over and asked me if I saw the BTM last night, because she saw it on and immediately thought of me. I asked her what her impression was. Her answer was " Oh no, I did not watch that" with a huge shoulder shrug... the thing is that HAD she watched it she would've felt the way my DD did... but it is OK, one person at a time...
