I know there are some here who didn't care for Adam's song "The Original High" but I can't tell you what the song does to me. I firmly believe that if it had half a chance on radio it would have flew up the charts. I remember watching it on GMA, everything about that performance was perfect from his looks, clothing and of course his voice, which is always spot on. The reason I'm saying this is there are songs that were played on radio that I went from really not liking to actually find myself humming them. (I don't listen to radio when I'm home, only at work because my co-worker is in earlier than me and she always has control of the radio). Anyway LOL I know music is subjective but again if it gets played every day on the radio, I truly believe this one would have been a hit. Just my opinion. Enjoy youtu.be/Y-niIupAOxkI adore TOH. I am less sure that it would have been a radio hit when it was released. The song is great, the performance is better, but the timing on that track was a bit off. And there is no sign from iTunes sales or from streaming data that this was a sleeper hit. The streaming data seems to indicate that GT was the "hit" from that album -- so seems like they picked the right lead single. Ghost Town with Sleepwalker and Runnin is my fav Lambert song ever. And yes based on streaming success GT was definitely the right single. Nearly 180 mill streams on Spotify. Over 80 mill streams on YT. 260 mill streams combined. Toh could of been a hit in OZ. Timing was a bit off though. After ALN kinda didn't resonate. All the momentum with GT was DOA. I guess potential radio hits with A4. Is dependant on timing, Luck, and song choice. Two Fux I really like. Has an immediate hook, catchy tune. Seems to me it was intended to be a streaming based choice. It went viral, reasonable numbers. I think 2nd single we'll be a radio release. And tv performance. Hopefully Fallon. I like the sound of Two Fux very retero. Seems like Adam is utilising his strengths. Going back to a more Glam Rock sound.

Hi --- Seeker of Powerful Strength here. Actually, there's some truth in this game of names. Think I found a powerful strength. Think I found him in 2009. Cannot stop listening and watching 'One More Try' . . . can one memorize a song in one day? I lived my life with such blinders on. Until Adam. Now I know about Queen, Pop radio, Top 40, HAC, CHR, umbrellas, tea bags, LGBTQ rights, The Abbey, philanthropy, justice, fashion, frivolity . . . and then, 'One More Try'. What a splendid, heartbreaking song, George Michael! And Adam brought its message, its agony, home. Yes. I used to wonder what it was about Adam that thrills me every time he opens his mouth in song. Is it the purity? The resonance and pitch? The perfect enunciation and phrasing? Nope. It's the feeling. He explores; he swims his way into the music; the lyrics; he nestles them into himself; he delicately devours them and lets them find their way into each sensory cell; and then he gives them back, anew; casts his voice and heart out as if he's yearning to reel in the sea of emotion in you and me - so we can be together on this searching 'ship of fools'; trying to find our way. Since none can compare with Adam, it's okay if others do what they do, achieve whatever they're achieving. I only know my truth, and as long as I can hear that man laying out his soul in 'One More Try' I will look to the 'ecliptical' sky and be forever thankful, that like my friends on Adamtopia, that we have been changed and brought to a place of music, adventure, and excitement for the days to come. The journey may not be easy, but we will always have a voice, a song, a purity, a light. Awww, Momtomany, you are the best! Being as prosaic as they come (had to check the spelling), I am so impressed and inspired by your poetic posts. You and Adam, with your wonderful soul and talent make me happy. And we can sure use some happy these days... So thanks for your posts, and I hope Adam reads them, too. I think they would make him happy.

Meet the Actors Who Will Portray Queen in the Upcoming Freddie Mercury BiopicBy Matthew Wilkening August 21, 2017 6:30 PM Pascal Le Segretain / Jeff Spicer / Joshua Blanchard / Jeff Spicer, Getty Images / Inset Queen photos – EMIRead More: Meet the Actors Who Will Portray Queen in the Upcoming Freddie Mercury Biopic | ultimateclassicrock.com/queen-movie-actors-cast/?trackback=tsmclipThe four actors who will be portraying the members of Queen in the upcoming Bryan Singer-directed Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody have been revealed. It had previously been announced that Mr. Robot‘s Rami Malek would be portraying Mercury in the movie, which the band’s official site says is set to begin filming “very, very soon.” Today the casting of the rest of the band was confirmed. Gwilym Lee from The Tourist will be portraying guitarist Brian May, Ben Hardy (recently seen as Angel in X-Men: Apocalypse) will be playing drummer Roger Taylor and Social Network / G.I. Joe: Retaliation star Joe Mazello will be playing bassist John Deacon. Back in 2010, Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen was slated to play Mercury in the film, he left the project in 2013 – allegedly because the band wanted Mercury’s 1992 death to take place in the middle of the film. “I said, ‘Listen, not one person is going to see a movie where the lead character dies from AIDS and then you see the band carry on.'” May, however, has publicly disputed Cohen’s version of events. “Sacha became an arse,” he told the Daily Mail. “We had some nice times with Sacha kicking around ideas but he went off and told untruths about what happened.” May and Taylor, who recently completed a rapturously-received North American tour in celebration of the 40th anniversary of their News of the World album, have declared themselves thrilled with the new choice to portray Mercury. “Rami has great presence and he’s utterly dedicated to the project. He’s completely living and breathing Freddie already, which is wonderful.” That guy looks nothing like Roger to me. To me, Roger was the best looking one, and had huge doe eyes. That guy has squinty eyes and super round face, which Roger doesn't have. I think the actors for Brian and John do look very similar to who they are supposed to represent. I think the actor for Brian is the best looking.

Guess I don't like super round faces. IMO, Roger's face is much more heart shaped. Seeing other pics of them side-to-side online they really look nothing alike except for both having the same coloring. It's too bad Rufus isn't an actor and a lot shorter.

I know you make me happy momtomany. You do have a way with words that always touch me to the core. That song made me cry, gave me goosebumps and left me shaking. That voice hits somewhere in my brain that turns me inside out.
