Coverage of BTM. What I love about it is the second sentence: That is what I was hoping the special would get across to non-fans. That Adam was not an "instant" star, having been on Idol. Of course, the article goes on to discuss the struggles he had with his sexuality, not with trying to make it, but..... it's a start. If you look at the song 'Destroyed' it shows both a BC Jean and the Brittany Carlson Jean as co writers so they aren't the same...
Also...re Burning Man....I thought I read, here on the board I believe, that this is the last year for Burning Man. Too many 'regular' peeps going....risks dilution from original premise. Sort of like, you can't be pop and indie too for very long.....too bad as it seems like it is a great artistic outlet for stretching the imagination.
OT...our little island here is having similar sorts of identity issues. If the economy is to sustain any growth and keep its young people it needs to 'let in' more business opps etc. If more business interests are allowed on the island, it is no longer the appealing sanctuary that is its major attraction!!!.....tough....
