Hey Everyone! Just checking in as I have finally finished my move and made it to NYC. First NYC experience as a resident? Spending an hour and a half traipsing around my neighborhood at 11pm trying to convince my thoroughly grass-fed doggie to get over her decided lack of conviction about sidewalks and their potential toilet suitability and take care of the one damn duty she has in her otherwise pampered day  . Had hilarious conversations with other random dog-owners wiser in the ways of the big-city-wee than I. LOL good to be making friends with the neighbors already :  . Fortunately, she (the doggie) appears to be a quick study.  SO, now I've frantically been catching up on the last week. Didn't miss much, did I ??? ;D. Watched BTM <3 (on VH1 like a good girl, Cassie  ) Thanks to all of you who posted links. And I gather that Adam and Sauli were going to get married, Adam in Gaultier leopard-beads and Sauli in a lacy white McQueen number (a la Princess Kate) and Brian May wasn't invited, but song-collaborator Benny Blanco was, and he got jealous and smashed the cake to smitherines, (at which point a drunk Perez Hilton, who had crashed the party, force-fed the pieces to grooms-maid Lady Gaga), which bought the proceedings to a screeching halt, and Adam cancelled the wedding, leaving Sauli in tears and a soggy white lacy dress, yes? (Cue high-drama portentous BTM backing soundtrack...) Did I get that just about right? Anyone? US magazine? ;D All caught up now and looking forward to some stormy weather (it drizzled in NYC today and at first I was like, what's that wet stuff? AUSTIN=HOT+DRY). Just hope things get a little less stormy in London. 2/3 of my family are living there right now, but they say that they just watch it on tv like the rest of us--their neighborhoods are fine, thankfully. Nice to be back. NOW I've GOTTA go start UNpacking  MWP!!!! Happy to see you BB!!!! Your summary of what you missed is awesome and entirely correct. Only--*whispers*--I may have to be a bit stealth about it, as I'm only "out" as a crazy fan, not as a batshitcrazy fan, which means the hubby and family might be a bit surprised by the whole fraternizing-with-other-crazies-on-the-internet-whom-I've-never-actually-met thing. My husband knows that I "occasionally" check the "adam-site" for news, etc. What I don't want him to know is how often I check the "adam-site" for news, and what that frequency says about my, um, commitment to my other obligations....(What, baby? Of course I've unpacked all our clothes and shit while you've been out running errands and visiting the grandmother? What else would I have been doing with my ENTIRE DAY??!! ) I can just picture my trying to sell our online chatting--oh, s'nothing, just a lady I met on that "adam-site" whom I've talked-SYTYCD with once or twice. What? Oh, that bit under my name that says Post: 458? That's nothing. That's just, um, uh, ah...that's the number threads on the board that, uh, I've, um, clicked on since, ah, 2009, yeah. Besides, look at Cookie's, she's MUCH worse! Her's says 1431! She's much more crazier than me!....*stutters to a pathetic halt*  Too bad he's really into SYTYCD, too, or I could veg at Atop to my lazy little heart's content and feel no shame! ;D But the plan is to be right there with ya, shame be damned! |

MWP's lulzy post caused me to scroll back through this page and I noticed some bizarre things.
• Satisfied and MWP are twinsies (with only that last post separating them at 458 and 459)
• Smokey and Cookie have 1432 and 1341 (a little eerie)
• Seoulmate is apparently a witch, or has perfected a post cloaking device because her number doesn't change, despite three posts on this page. Oh wait, Lynneville's number didn't change either ???

MWP's lulzy post caused me to scroll back through this page and I noticed some bizarre things. • Satisfied and MWP are twinsies (with only that last post separating them at 458 and 459) • Smokey and Cookie have 1432 and 1341 (a little eerie) • Seoulmate is apparently a witch, or has perfected a post cloaking device because her number doesn't change, despite three posts on this page. I think the post count is like your avi, and it updates all the way back. I don't really know back to what, but I know with avi's, if I read a thread way late, I can see people talking about several variations of an avi that they are trying, but all I see is the one they posted last. Had an interesting convo with hubby today. He was watching the BTM upstairs (but only watched 30 minutes) while I was watching downstairs. His comment was why are they focusing so much on the gay and the AMA's? I had to go into the long rendition explaining all and explained the Hinklin situation before the AMA's. Told him he needs to watch the rest of it to understand the full impact and understand what they were leading up to. He's thinking about it.
