RequestAdam Request Adam Lambert Remember to do the 2 Top 40 surveys (Top 40, OHP) on Rate the Music this wkend t.co/OO0lzhH; if you haven't signed up, do it now. 13 seconds ago Favorite Retweet Reply Why is this request going out now?? Adam doesn't have any new music yet. Are we supposed just to get in the swing of things in preparation for November, or are we supposed to vote on now nearly 2-year old Adam songs? #notgonnadoitwithoutagoodreason I believe the thought is, so that it doesn't seem like a bunch of Glamberts only jumped on the music survey band wagon because of Adam. They want legitimate opinions.

They want legitimate opinions. That's exactly the reason. Long-term raters may weigh more than newbies. Also, I imagine we'll have a new single in a month or so to rate. I'm also on my local radio stations music survey list and I've gotten to hear some great music I may have missed before.

I've started sending the occasional text request to my local radio station for songs that I like so when new Adam music comes I can send a few enthusiastic texts without it seeming out of the blue.

twitter.com/#!/iHeartRadio/status/102408449798844416 @iheartradio Major lineup announcement on Monday 9am ET for #iHeartRadio Music Festival, hmmm who do you think it is? RT If it's Adam, I will be pretty damn pissed since this show is sold out! My. Thoughts. Exactly. I will be sooooooo mad. (And then start trying to win those stupid radio tickets like a madwoman.) Evergreen, the announcement was made in an exclusive by the Hollywood Reporter last Friday. So far, we have no idea when the ink was dry on the deal or when DMG officially took over for Adam, but conventional wisdom would say week before last, at the earliest, because chances are it would have leaked if suddenly different people were negotiating his deals.

All the AI 10 Idols are part of the co-management deal between Red Light Management and 19 Entertainment EXCEPT for Scotty and Lauren who are part of the XIX deal and being co-managed by Simon Fuller's company XIX and 19 Entertainment.
Red Light Management is not part of XIX (which is Simon Fuller's company). Iain Pirie is President of 19 Entertainment and Lane still works for 19 Entertainment as far as I can tell. So it may be that they are part of the license deal.
Red Light Records is a separate and unrelated company.
The Idol-UMG contract has the same term as the 19 Entertainment -- James Durbin cannot sign with any non-UMG label until mid-August.
The punchline is that Lane does not appear to be working for Adam anymore.

I have never stopped rating music at the Top Toronto station since FYE came out. I request Adam and other music. Although, it is obvious from Twitter that I am an Adam fan, I talk up the station regularly on Twitter (they started following me!) and I tweet back and forth about things other than Adam with one of the DJs. I did this for a couple of reasons:
a) Q3 told us a long time ago not to be crazy with the stations, I don't request from stations I don't listen to. b) Another fan went on an absolute rant to the station when they stopped playing Sleepwalker. I knew from the start it would go no where on the station - if you listened regularly you would know that. I will eat my hat if that fan is not back when new music materializes. And I will eat my hat if they don't remember her.
I have listened to this station for ever. Have never requested or even been on their website until Adam came along.

Contracts here, there and everywhere! Who contracted groundcontrol for Adam's Fan Club? Is it possible this would change because of his new management? I understand that AO is RCA and there is little hope of much change there, but are there other companies who run fan clubs that do a better job?

James Durbin does not have a contract. He has twatted several times and said there is red-tape to get thru. He has been saying things that others on my feed find appauling. He still suffers from foot in mouth disease. So Lane maybe a temp for the idols on the tour. Lane had it easy with Adam except for his tardiness, and was always able to smile and relax during Adam's interviews knowing that he would be funny and charming. Even when he did things like calling MJ a LIVING LEGEND in the car turned out to be funny instead of embarrassing. [Lane] seems like a really nice and efficient person and it would be great if Adam got to "keep her," but it seems business is business and nothing is permanent any more.Well, to be pragmatic, Adam is going from a very large management company (19) to a dramatically smaller company. I believe someone here said it was maybe ~ 10 people. I seriously doubt that Adam could "bring over" someone like Lane unless the company concurrently decided they needed another employee.
