For vocals, I recommend Hollywood Bowl 2. The Dallas audience was great and I think one of his sexiest shows might have Thobeen Edmonton. For a unique opening, I recommend Phoenix. It’s the only venue that got the show (costuming, setlist, etc) as they first intended it to be! I will never forget Adam and Dr May exploding down the catwalk, his hair in full red/orange glory, while they opened with a full WE WILL ROCK YOU!! ❤️ ITA about Phoenix -- the setlist was great. There are a few rough bits in that show but quite good -- and the audience had so much energy there. Hollywood Bowl #2 was also excellent -- and some of the audio from that concert is wonderful -- I have not listened to all the concerts on recordings but that is the one I saved from this tour. "It's Late" in Las Vegas was excellent but that concert was not my favorite. I think some of the middle of the tour concerts were my favorites -- Cleveland was probably the best total show I attended. But it was in an arena and the recordings I've listed to are not as good as HB2. There might be a really good recording of that show somewhere and I would really like to have on. The Cleveland concert is a bit special to me because I moved a few days after it -- so it was my farewell to Cleveland. Q3, all high quality audio recordings, including HB 1&2 and 2 different Cleveland recordings, are at: adamtopia.com/post/833001

animaldoc--I'm impressed with your baseball knowledge--You really know the game, and yes, I knew about Gibson's history with your Tigers.I think that 1984 HR for them, factored into Lasorda calling him up in the 9th inning ,which resulted in that legendary home run for the Dodgers in 1988. All my brothers are Yankee fans and I can't even describe the battles we had growing up---but that's another whole story! Q3, I'm sorry about your Indians too. I have been complaining about the WILD CARD implementation for years---even though I know WHY it was done. I think, with 102 wins, the Indians should be in the World Series against my Dodgers who had 104 wins this year. They are the teams who should be competing for the title IMHO. Bring back the purity of the game!!!! But of course that will never happen... Sophie----I see you have yet another thing in common with Adam!! Hee Hee {although if I had a chance to catch up with him after the runway show last night, I bet even HE would have had some inkling about what happened over in Chavez Ravine. The noise decibel coming out of Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles last night reached the stratosphere!!!!!} Lorraine, I was making comments about ljsmack's post, and just saw yours after I posted my reply! I'm impressed with your baseball knowledge as well, and I didn't know about Lasorda calling Kirk in the 9th inning back in '84. Fortunately, I don't have family members who are Yankee fans, but the University of Michigan vs Michigan State rivalry makes up for it, as I have some Wolverine cousins as well as Spartan cousins, and one of my brother-in-laws is a Wolverine. I too agree about the WILD CARD thing - it definitely should have been the Dodgers vs the Indians in the World Series! They both had just incredible seasons. And Sophie and all others who aren't in the US or don't give a flip about baseball, we apologize (as they say, scrolling can be your friend). Q3 started all this by having a "post something good day" - when we do go off topic a bit, we often find out things about our fellow Adamtopians that we didn't know, which is a good thing. Shows that we are enthusiastic fans in many ways!
Loved you comment about the noise decibel coming out of Dodger Stadium last night should have given Adam just an inkling of what had happened! Thanks, but really no need to explain that i can scroll or for explaining what we can learn on this board. i made a tongue in cheek reference to the phrase 'all Greek to me' which was discussed at some length here last week, as I'm sure you will recall. Thank you happy for your ' I see what you did there' comment .I have loved the discussion. I have particularly enjoyed my great real-life friend lorraine's joy in the game and the memories....as if I didn't already know!
