Personally I have always thought that the whole lifestyle/preference vs hard wired gay was a trap that the LGBT community fell into which serves the anti-gay lobby very well. It is a straw man arguement at best because in reality it really shouldn't matter whether it is predetermined or a choice because the objection to homosexuality is purely based on religious belief which should not be allowed to curtail anyones freedoms according to our constitution. It is an even more ridiculous distraction from the true argument than the Pro-Life vs Pro-Choice debate. In both cases the true argument is about who has control. The same people who argue against government regulation of business are all for government regulation of people. It's bullshit. Never could figure out why they think they are going to stamp out homosexuality with laws since they've never made a dent in Adultery. Ha! There should be some way to call their attention to that fact.

Well it wouldn't make any difference because very few of them employ any kind of logic in their arguments and you really can't get anywhere in an argument when all logic is thrown out the window. Yet another Bono point that I love is that the bible is supposedly "the word" and the bible says that God="the WORD" and the root of the word logic is logos which is word.

Yet another Bono point that I love is that the bible is supposedly "the word" and the bible says that God="the WORD" and the root of the word logic is logos which is word. People only see what they want to see and hear what they want to hear. It doesn't matter if it's Democrats forgiving Clinton's transgressions or Christians forgiving Jimmy Swaggert's, logic or reality has no place in most people's opinions. If your brother and his wife get a divorce because he was fooling around, it was because his wife was a bitch. If she's your sister, you're angry because he's a horny dog and can't keep it in his pants. It's the same with the religious faction versus the gay faction. The rules of adultery from the Old Testament in relation to re-marriage are considered outdated and unrealistic in this age of Las Vegas wedding chapels and short engagements, but the two times homosexuality are referred to are inviolate.

Is there a translation yet of Sauli's new blog? I don't read the google translations because they are only useful for humor. I'd rather wait for a real translation so that I can actually understand what he's talking about. Translation is on the new thread .
