Adam and Finland have a very special love affair it seems. Understandably. That's why it would be complete with that real life fairytale ending May be some day, may be not... All good. I'd love that fairytale ending. ❤️☺️

I don’t know much about Adam and Sauli‘s former relationship. Or what it is now. Until they say otherwise, I’ll take it, that they are close friends, as Adam has said. To me that happy, joyful little clip that I saw from the dinner in the hotel showed me one thing: They all seemed to love their company, and I would guess that Adam probably was with them, although he wasn’t actually shown. But I would think that the language barrier between Adam and Sauli and his family and friends is still huge! They were all talking in Finnish and I guess most/all of them can speak English at least a bit. And Sauli surely more than a bit. Naturally they speak in their mothertongue to each other. But when I just imagine, Adam was in between them (and also, how it must have been when he visited Sauli‘s family a few years back for Christmas), I can see, that the language barrier could easily be one big reason for their separation. And from the other side: For Sauli living in the US without much contact to family and friends in Finnland, it couldn‘t have been easy as well. Living alone in a country with a different culture (and also language)is hard. I experienced it once, when I spent some time in the US at a guest family ( students exchange in highschool). Even if A and S should try it again, it won‘t be easy for the one leaving his home.

Sauli's sisters speak excellent english; one of them actually lives in Phoenix on and off. Also Sauli's friends speak english. Saara for example lived also in LA; that's how they met. I'm not going to assume the reason for their initial break up, but I'm sure it wasn't because of the language barrier. 😊

Even if A and S should try it again, it won‘t be easy for the one leaving his home. That is the way I feel. Don't know much about Sauli except that he and Adam were a couple at one time and now they enjoy one another's company sometimes. He seems like a nice guy but who knows what ended things before? It just didn't work for whatever reason. But I adore Adam and hope for only the best for him. One day he may find the man of his dreams but it will be his choice and his dream. If it is Sauli I would be happy for him. If it is someone else, I would be happy for him if that is what he wants. But others can't make their choice his. It doesn't work that way no matter how hard one may want it. Often times, it seems that some even get upset when their fantasies are not realized when it comes to those two. I cared a lot about what happened with them before because Adam seemed to care and he talked a lot about the relationship. Now he does not say much of anything. That if probably a good thing. He will most likely share if there is anything of significance to share about the relationship and if and when he wants to.

I'm not going to assume the reason for their initial break up, but I'm sure it wasn't because of the language barrier. 😊 No, I didn’t assume the language problem was the reason for their break-up. But I read somewhere in an Adam-interview, that the language-barrier nevertheless was a problem. In the beginning of their relationship Sauli barely spoke any English. Love (and lust) could overcome that, especially in the beginning. But I also got the impression that Adam is a “communicator“. He loves to talk and discuss. And he stated that this was hardly possible. I’m sure it got much better and they all (Sauli’s sisters and friends included) can talk and communicate without too many misunderstandings. I just think that the different cultures, language and simply the distance to your homecountry and family can definitely add a lot of problems in a relationship. It can even get on you, when your relationship is completely fine. And somehow, from the few things I read about Sauli back then, I actually did get the impression, that he is happier in Finland.

From the way Adam talked about Sauli they were deeply in love. Adam was so happy to have a boyfriend finally and seemed to love showing Sauli off. They did so many things together. They would dress up for parties and Halloween. They seemed to be so much alike. I think Adam's career and his travelling may have gotten in the way. I loved the pictures of them out together. They were shoulder to shoulder and close to each other all the time. The way they looked at each other was overwhelming. Maybe it was just for show but they made my heart jump when I saw the pictures. There are even pictures of them kissing that were so lovely. I have a picture I could show you but I don't know how to bring it here.
