ITA, Lulu! Remember Fantasy Springs? The concert and the hotel had been sold out for DAYS before Ed finally announced it was actually happening. Uh, thanks for that, Ed. Glad I didn't wait for "official confirmation" or I would have been left out in the cold. Of course, we know he has to go through Official Corporate Channels blah-ba-dee-blah ...Basically, if we relied on AO for a scoop, we wouldn't ever know ANYTHING until two weeks after the rest of the world. Have there been incorrect scoops? Sure, but that is part and parcel of getting a scoop and following a rumor and we've become pretty good at vetting these things. If we're wrong? Eh well ... it's not the first time. It's not the worst crime ... this shit is all we've got rn, but thanks for tossing us a wet blanket, Ed. I also don't understand the "period spent in limbo between management companies" comment. (as something that would effect an album release date that is). No, I would love an explanation on this also. Q3? ??? |

I also have surreptitious stanning to a fine art!! I take my Mac-book pro with me when ever I leave home for longer than a day. What you do is set the laptop up online, open your email in one browser and Atop in the other [firefox and safari for me] and then plug in your earphones [never ever travel without these!]. Then instead of shutting the computer down, just put it to sleep. Then the noise of your computer does not alert/wakeup your host/guest when you stay up late and/or wake up early and/or 'check your email' thoughout the day. By having both browsers open you can toggle back and forth with lightning speed!! hehehe...sneaky aren't we LOL!!! Oh, mszue, this is so me!! I'm sure my DH doesn't understand how I can spend so much time "checking my e-mail"...I just don't get that many e-mails!! But it makes a wonderful excuse for all those times I check the computer during the day!! And you're right about the toggling back and forth - it works great when someone wanders into the room! Thanks for the tip about the earphones stopping any computer 'beeps' though - I hadn't thought about that trick yet :D :D |
