Haha. While I was posting about not liking to look back at AI8 I see Reihmer posted all the Adam vids. Well maybe now I'll just HAVE to re watch them? Oh and this - I just started noticing peace signs on many cars. He's out in front again peeps! Heh! Shopko had a peace sign on the front page of last week's Sunday paper advertisement. On back to school things like a backpack or notebook cover. |

The last tie dye I bought in June has an amazing peace sign on it. As it is a sleeveless tank, it's been getting a lot of wear lately. So fucking hot. One more reason to look forward to fall. I'm going to equate cooler weather with Adam's release date. Two real reasons to get very excited.

So I'm guessing the peace sign is making a comeback and Adam is right in the forefront with his design. I've been around here since Planet Fierce days, but I don't usually say anything. LOL at the peace piece.... I bought a peace necklace in Provincetown the day after my last concert on the Glamnation tour and the end of my Glamcation. The reason? One of my favourite parts of the concert was when I was able to flash the peace sign back to him at the end of IIHY. Because peace is my wish for him and for others. I wear it a lot, to remind myself to try to be positive and happy.  |

I don't want to say Adam isn't avant garde or anything (he's perfect IMHO, of course) but the peace sign made a comeback several years ago and seems to be here to stay. A friend & I had a hippie theme party 2 summers ago and there were scads of peace symbols to be had. I didn't really notice until I started looking for it, but then I noticed it everywhere. Kids clothes, jewelry, adult clothes, notebook covers etc. I love it! Has always carried a lot of meaning for me. and.... WELCOME, TERRYLOVESADAM!!Glad to see you delurk. |
