Not sure if Washington Examiner is affiliated with The Examiner (totally different logo and page layout): washingtonexaminer.com/blogs/yeas-nays/2011/08/celebs-take-aim-bachmannCelebs take aim at Bachmann It seems some Hollywood A-listers are getting mad at Rep. Michele Bachmann for her attitude towards gay people. Singer/songwriter and "American Idol" veteran Adam Lambert reacted to Bachmann's appearance on NBC's Meet the Press on Sunday, where she said "I don't judge gays" when asked about anti-gay remarks she made in 2004. Lambert tweeted that her views were "ignorant" and added, "I usually steer clear of politics but she is a bully. Kids get teased in school by offspring of this type of parent." More!! |

Not gonna lie...I never had any particular use for Demi Lovato, but my opinion of her increased a hundredfold when she thanked Adam for his tweet. I adore it when the artists he supports actually acknowledge and appreciate that support. It doesn't happen often enough, IMO.

The Washingon Examiner is conservative leaning.....owned by same co. that owns The Weekly Standard. So glad they began with Adam's quote and ended with MB's ridiculous answer to KG.... Kudos for just letting the article speak volumes for itself. |

I spent the day sequestered in a hotel room alone so took the time to watch about 30 videos form GNT, random cities and random songs. I was overwhelmed once more by how much fun it all was. It thrills me that Adam has moved on, is choosing to be a little mainstream, picking up new respect and fans, but come on guys, wasn't last summer awesome? Each change in eye make up, sparkles back into his hair, body glitter, hair style and cut, interaction with Tommy, and encore choice made every night an adventure. The next tour can't possibly be as out there as GNT but knowing Adam there will still be lots of excitement and interaction. It made me think of Bowie and Madonna and how they re-invented themselves and their personas with each album and each tour. I can't wait to see what Adam does next...... didn't Kara already say that?
