Did anyone expound more on this 20 song rumor from the other day? I was kinda confused as to what that meant exactly. Not that I won't take everything with an iceberg of salt or anything, but I was curious. Thx =) The rumor --- and I underscore that I cannot verify it --- came from me. There will be about 20 finished tracks for sale from the Adam #2 project. Not all tracks are planned for all versions. That is a fairly large number of tracks for an album in 2011. Lady Gaga had a total of 17 tracks from BTW excluding remixes -- on her Special Edition (SE) album. If true -- this indicates that there is a lot of decent music from the Adam #2 project AND that there will be SE/Deluxe products. USUALLY -- not always -- an album cycle that produces a lot of finished tracks = a good album. A finished track is one that is fully produced -- not a song that is written and has a demo. Album cycles that result in 10 - 14 finished tracks (most typical now) are all over the board. The big exceptions to the "lots of tracks" = good music comes from megastars who can do whatever they want and indie/partially indie artist who write and produce their own music. So if Katy Perry wanted to spend the money to produce 30 finished tracks, her label would be there with a checkbook. An indie type artist, Bon Iver for example, who has their own studio and is self produced can do 1,000 finished tracks -- cause there is no upfront fees to mega producers and top writers. Adam is not a mega star (yet) and is working in major studios, with top producers and top collaborators -- the extra tracks would = money. I am really trying to find out more about Adam #2 -- but I think he should title it -- Shroud of Secrecy. Thankx doll! I understand it's a rumor but at least it's a fun one! =)

Yes, Kathy Griffin, Adam fucking Lambert is a dreamboat that makes millions of people, men and women alike all kinds of giddy. He just has that effect on people.

Is the site loading slow for anyone else? I just played two games of solitaire and it still didn't open. Even refresh is taking forever.

I don't really know what usually happens right before and after album release, but I saw people planning vacation around this date (yes, twitter peeps, icu, ) and I wonder if I need to prepare too. Prepare, create, and love ;D Funny you should mention that. My son lives in Birmingham and wants me to come for a few weeks during the late fall. I thought about it and thought maybe I'd stay with them, visit my grand kids, then go to his lake house for a week where it's totally quiet, deserted, and 20 minutes to the nearest ANYTHING . It sounded like a plan then I remembered no WiFi. Cancel! It will just be the week or 10 days at Thanksgiving when there is enough company and activity that I'm not the center of attention and they don't know my computer is glued to my side. I'm hopeless.

Has anyone seen YT's of the the three "outtakes" from Behind the Music? They were posted on Carol's site this morning, but are not in YT and my UK friend can't open them. One of them is about Adam making out with girls in HS. Thanks!

LOL The other day hubby mentioned taking vacation mid-October; I almost swallowed my tongue. He asked me where I wanted to go and I told him there was nowhere I was "dying" to visit. Him: so you'd just rather stay home, right? Me: well, I'd rather stay home than spend money going somewhere I'm not thrilled about going to? Now, having said that, October would be better than Nov. (he turns 60 around T'giving)--I may miss some single promotion if we went somewhere in October but I definitely don't want to miss the album release, so if I have to go somewhere in October, either the laptop will be traveling with us/the hotel business center computer will get used a lot and/or I'll be on the phone with a friend asking for updates! I'm very, very far down the rabbithole! Need to spend some time thinking about my strategy re: vacation (need to put this at the top of my "to do" list).

My paper had this blip today. The big KISS off
The band KISS has been dropped from October's Michael Jackson tribute show, organizers announced yesterday, noting that KISS singer Gene Simmons had been critical of Jackson for years.Pay back's a bitch isn't it? Karma anyone? I laughed out loud in the car yesterday when a TMZ moment was played on the radio (Maybe this is ATOP suicide, but I think Harvey Levin is hilarious) and Harvey said Michael's mother was outraged about Gene Simmons being on the tribute. Good for her, and you're right, karma is a bitch. I wonder if Gene was concerned about Adam falling in his Rick Owens boots the other night. Maybe mentioning the fact that he had 3 pair was for Gene's benefit. Ha
