I also have surreptitious stanning to a fine art!! I take my Mac-book pro with me when ever I leave home for longer than a day. What you do is set the laptop up online, open your email in one browser and Atop in the other [firefox and safari for me] and then plug in your earphones [never ever travel without these!]. Then instead of shutting the computer down, just put it to sleep. Then the noise of your computer does not alert/wakeup your host/guest when you stay up late and/or wake up early and/or 'check your email' thoughout the day. By having both browsers open you can toggle back and forth with lightning speed!! hehehe...sneaky aren't we

Does anyone remember the woman who tweeted that her son who was a big Adam fan had met Bowie and said that Bowie was a fan of Adam? She said her son was on a school touring trip of the US and some of Europe and she's get more information when he got back. Has she tweeted anything more about this? I was thinking surely her son would be back by now! Curious minds just desperately need to know NOW want to know. ;D

Back to flailing ;D I am starting to wonder why we should hope that there will not be delays - it seems that so many artists are facing them and this comment kind of suggests one, doesn't it? The concert and the hotel had been sold out for DAYS before Ed finally announced it was actually happening. Uh, thanks for that, Ed. Glad I didn't wait for "official confirmation" or I would have been left out in the cold. Of course, we know he has to go through Official Corporate Channels blah-ba-dee-blah ...Basically, if we relied on AO for a scoop, we wouldn't ever know ANYTHING until two weeks after the rest of the world. Have there been incorrect scoops? Sure, but that is part and parcel of getting a scoop and following a rumor and we've become pretty good at vetting these things. If we're wrong? Eh well ... it's not the first time. It's not the worst crime ... this shit is all we've got rn, but thanks for tossing us a wet blanket, Ed. |

I'm sure you looked lovely  . And not at all suspicious. No, not at all. Thanks, lady. Unfortunately, I know all about stealth stanning. I "check my email" an unreasonable amount. Was just whinging about the stealthness of it all to AMW yesterday. AND I had planned a wonderful afternoon watching BTM for the first (proper) time (caught youtube snippets when I finished the road trip) on the BRAND NEW HDTV we bought the inlaws as a thanks-for-putting-up-with-us-(and-our-little-dog-too) surprise. The inlaws are out of town and the hubby was busy with logistical stuff for the fellowship program we moved here for. But my wonderful afternoon was just foiled. Hubby called--he got off early and is coming home to hang out with me and do something fun. He has to go back to take care of some stuff but not til later. Which means he's gonna wanna hang out exactly during my BTM window.  Deep breath...okay...I'm over it...I LOVE hanging out with hubby...   ETA: Scratch all that. BTM isn't showing on VH1 here right now. It's showing in a few hours but its the Mary J. Blige episode. And then tomorrow Ricky Martin repeat. No adam episode in sight. :-/ I'll have to store up stanning power for another day. Good news is--if I can't convince hubby to spend a thursday night sitting through a minor awards show for two secs of Adam presenting, LOL, then it repeats on friday at a time I'm sure he'll have to be up at school. Now, the fact that I SHOULD ALSO BE WORKING THEN? um, we can overlook that. |
