Lots of good things about that STL. Of interest, at the end where Adam is riffing, he does a glissando (slide) up to a high D on "oooooo" and when he hits the D, he opens up to a "yeaaaaaaaaaah" in full voice, slipping in a couple of E5s as well. (at 3:24). Then, 20 seconds later he glides up to the D5 again on "oooooo", this time switching to his head voice along the way, gently hit the high notes before working his way back down, preserving his head voice thruout the phrase. And both phrases are seamless, no break in his voice, no change in the tone. Level of difficulty: 10. And he does it while looking like it is easy peasy and loads of fun.

At the end of STL, watch Adam and Roger sticking their tongues out at each other!

Midst the utter BRILLIANCE of that STL and the palpable warmth and chemistry between Adam and Brian, I just have to say:
I LOVE THAT HAIRCUT!

I just wanted to bring over Cassie's post toward the end of yesterday's thread because I found it really insightful and I wish Brain and Roger and, also Adam, could read her words. cassie 4 hours ago cassie said:
"I just read an article on the things people regret when they are on their deathbed. Not that Brian is in that situation right now, but, to see him and Roger performing in their biggest. most flashy productions ever, makes me think. They will be able to look back at this time and say that they took the risk, braved the likely criticism of fans and media, took the risk that audiences would not be interested in a couple of old guys, braved the fear that they might not be able to perform at the level they had in the past. They went for the gold one more time instead of puttering in the garden of their retirement homes, like Brian alluded to. And it has paid off astoundingly. They are selling out arenas around the world. They say they are playing better than ever. They sound as glorious as ever. They have witnessed the adoration of old fans and new generations of concert goers, and they are getting the most glowing reviews they have ever had, by a long shot.
They will never experience the regret of playing it safe, not taking the risk to do what they love the most, bowing to the opinions of the naysayers, not risking the disapproval of others or the damaging of their reputations and legacy. Bravo, Brian and Roger. And thank you." As exhausting as the tour may feel at times, especially for the older gentlemen, it can only be deeply gratifying and fulfilling to be on this much celebrated journey. I am sure it is one of the reasons why Adam is so radiantly glowing lately. He is majorly contributing to their revived legacy.
