Also, I didn't mean to handle gay people as a one single group or them having one single "gay culture", or imply that only gay people would read Out. Sorry if it came out as ignorant.
Sorry I was not here to respond sooner to clarify my points -- I did not think that you believed that gays were a monolith or that OUT Magazine's readers are all gay -- just pointed it out to put there circulation numbers into better perspective.
I am not rational about Aaron Hicklin -- and I do not ever intend to forget what Hicklin tried to do to Adam. He wanted to push Adam to be political. Instead, Hicklin just helped make Adam more famous and helped Adam acquire many of his younger gay fans.
