His expressions thru this entire bit are wonderful! He comes out fierce and proud, as a fashion icon. Posture erect, confident smile. Then, when the gal says black is out, he just sort of deflates. He says he is not that good of an actor, but the clip contradicts that. He may feel he is not convincing with lines, but, physically, he has it down. Clear and effective without being overdone. It reminded me that his high schoolmmented that Adam was very good at comedy. I hope someone sees this bit, and recognizes what a gem they have here, and gets him a TV or movie role ASAP. I agree and short story, my hubby who is an actor and teaches acting, watched Adam's presentation with me and commented, "Wow, he's a natural, very impressive." Believe me, coming from him that's a huge compliment. I would also like to see Adam branch out some day to acting roles but right now I just want him to make incredible music and be the iconic pop star he is destined to be. There's plenty of time for the other stuff. Besides if he became too caught up in the acting world, I'd miss hearing that incredible voice. Justin Timberlake anyone? Love hearing this, taumbu!! to hubby. Does anyone know where the interview is of one of Adam's theater teachers ( Gelly?) (I don't remember if it was the teacher interviewed for E!THS), but he talks about Adam's comedic ability saying it's something that people don't realize. He was reflecting on the time Adam played Bottom in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and he said, "God, he was funny."

Therefore along with feeding into the narrative BTM and DoSomething wanted to create about Adam, it also brings more attention which brings more donors to this cause which clearly means a lot to Adam. Earlier today I handed the trevor project lifeline phone number scrawled on a scrap of paper to someone. The conversation in my studio with my young intern had come around to Michelle Bachman and in a round about way he revealed that he was really worried because a friend who wasn't out yet had made a suicide attempt over the weekend. I told him about the Trevor Project, and offered the number and he asked me to double-check it to make sure it was written correctly before he caught his ride home. All I can do right now is hope, I can't sleep. The Trevor Project is currently doing a fundraising celebration to raise 13,000$ by the end of the month for their 13th birthday celebration, I just set up a page as part of their drive on stayclassy for any Adam Fan who wants to donate as inspired by him.(You can donate anonymously, although it looks like you need to create an account to leave comments, you can use a username instead of your real name though). www.stayclassy.org/fundraise?fcid=121330click on the "activity" tab to comment and see donations. I invite you to join me! Here is the link to the Trevor Project's birthday donation invite: www.stayclassy.org/west-hollywood/events/raise-13000-for-trevors-13th-birthday/e7067ETA: I'm too tired at the moment to come up with a nice non-generic short blurb for this page. Any suggestions? Thank you for doing this rabbitrabbit. I saw a lot of comments from younger fans who said they couldn't afford the penny Royal necklace and this would be a great way to still feel involved. Sorry I don't have the brain power to help with a blurb but I will donate. Once you're ready maybe you can drop this link in the other fandoms or maybe try and get Hoopla twitter and others to retweet? There's not a lot doing on in the next couple weeks so it would be a great diversion for the restless. #helpadamhelptrevor

Happy Birthday to taumbu & cupofadam!!! Adam has a pretty good sense of comedic timing in the DS presentation! He did a great job, and I love seeing him on TV! Interesting reading the Steve Barnes review again. I remember thinking long and hard about it when it came out. The reviewer loved Adam's all out performance, but didn't like his "safe" banter between sets and felt that Adam was too nice at heart to be the next Freddie Mercury, and that the nice guy banter, indicating that Adam was just playing at being a rockstar, would hold him back from actually being one. That guy saw one concert, noticed the discrepancy between performing Adam and banter Adam and put out an interesting theory. But I don't think he had it right. For one thing, Adam is not trying to be the next Freddie Mercury; he is trying to be Adam Lambert, and while he will always be figuring out what that means to him as a performer, that is what will make him have authenticity in the end. This reviewer saw Adam at the beginning of his headlining journey, thought the nice banter was significantly weaker than the wild performance that he loved, and tried to make the pieces fit critically for his review, but, after following Adam for all this time, I disagree with the place where the review ultimately goes. Adam is nice and Adam is wild; that is who he is; ultimately, it is a combination that is every bit as intriguing to his fans as Freddie Mercury's persona was to his.
I love all the sides of Adam, especially when they slip into and over each other, surprising and mercurial in nature, one moment intensely fierce, the next radiantly joyful. It is at the base of what keeps me here after all of this time, waiting to see what comes next.I believe Adam will be more spontaneous with his banter as he feels more safe and comfortable headlining tours, and that when he does, the discrepancy between his performance and banter will not be so jarring for reviewers like this one. But, hey, Steve Barnes, naughty and nice is fun; it's sexy, and can be every bit as "rockstar" as anything else. lynne as always, ALWAYS, your post covers me completely!

Bit OT Scroll if needed. Whenever I see biebs I can't help but think of two things. One: he is still a fetus despite being almost 18 yrs old which leads me to believe that Usher and his management are injecting him with female hormones a la Michael Jackson style. Two: I will never forget the young girl who named a street after him in Texas. When I see Adam with biebs I am reminded of the glitter fist-bump video.

SusieFierce it was the teacher on ETHS but I think 4Msrmyn would remember exactly in which part this interview was. I'll see if I can find it myself.

I would like to offer an idea to those who have expressed worry about following the coming Adam Storm due to travel, etc.
The Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot MiFi may be a solution. My family uses one and it is great: secure & fast connection (no need to pay for & use bad hotel internet), convenient (about the size of a deck of cards), runs multiple devices ( we use 3 iPads + a computer). There is a monthly fee but it is an option that may be worthwhile to check into. We even used it on a cruise and had our own internet in our cabin when we were in port. ;D

Don't think that would help me abroad but worth thinking about for the future certainly. Is the "calm before the storm" over yet?
