This is to my Finnish friends here and totally and ridiculously OT. Someone here said that Hungarian and Finnish are similar. When I was a little girl, my Hungarian Grandma taught me Hungarian folk songs. Unfortunately, I learned to sing them phonetically and did not learn the language. So. How do you say "my mother" in Finnish/Hungarian? One of her favorites went "eh da shunyam, nem to dukal hulot nee.................." She told me that it was a song to sing to your mother. Another song was about a girl who fell off a tree. It went Marishka, Marishka fell ma soot de fada, le shet a fa dul keet dut kez a laba......... Of course I'm spelling this stuff phonetically also. If I'm totally crazy, please ignore me, but I've been singing these songs around the house all day. I'm sure Grandma is smiling down on me even if I don't know what the hell I'm saying. ;D If nothing else, this stuff sounds like I'm from another planet. Planet Fierce???????????? sugaree in Finnish my mother is minun äitini or just äitini. Maybe NoAngel knows my mother in Hungarian. mother = äitiHope you find this answer here. ETA: sugaree PM for you

I've been gone all evening spending time with my grandchildren only to return and find some of the most amazing pictures of Adam. What a walk down memory lane! Can you just imagine what we'll have after another year! I can't wait!!!!!!
