This is my vid! <<<<33333 lambosessed Lambosessed A year ago, Adam Lambert was the circus ringmaster in Hyannis bit.ly/d8NIszAwww mariep I just watched it! Gorgeous!!! I don't think I 've ever saw a vid showing so clearly the amazing colors of his outfit.! And the way you were following him around the stage and focusing on his face perfect!! Just perfect! Thanks for sharing! I went the next night to the "sister" theater in the round at Cohassett. You were sitting at the same spot regarding his entrance as I was for this video. After seeing all the tour videos it was like--"how is he going to enter?" "Where will he be?" Very fun. I don't keep track of dates, but you have reminded me that this was my week a year ago for three concerts. One of the most surprising things to me was the overwhelming volume of the crowds. Deafening!

Hey, reihmer! I speak Spanish. They're not saying anything that you wouldn't have heard in another type of these competitions, in rehearsals. Basically, the guy singing wanted to dance with professional dancers and they got him the dancers. The choreographer, the one sitting at the end of the rehearsal footage says that he liked the interpretation, even physical, and he isn't gay, so that speaks for itself. The presenter is "on fire" and full of emotion about the song and the judge that speaks first reads the lyrics translated in Spanish and then tells the singer that he did a spectacular job. That's about it! Hope it helps. Thanks herovillain.

This was my birthday present "The Hyannis" concert. He looked so gorgous that night. My favorite concert however was 2 days later at the Casino Ballroom in Hampton,NH. He was on fire. I was so close to the stage that I could almost reach out and touch him. I was also lucky enough to get my ticket signed by him after the concert. He has such glow around him and his talking voice is so tender. I didn't speak to him because the words just wouldn't come out of my mouth, I just listened to him as he went up and down the line signing autographs. He truly is an "Angel".

Deafening! It was nothing short of amazing the way Adam, band, and the dancers adjusted to so many types of venues! I loved him entering through the audience. I remember thinking I may have liked it even better than the normal entrance.

Hmmmm.... Not sure if this should go here or on the Radio Reference thread, but its quite an interesting article about music publishing. Its an interview with Jim Vellutato, the Vice President of A&R for Sony/ATV Music Publishing. He was involved in placing and releasing songs for Pink, Carrie Underwood, David Cook, Josh Groban, Fergie, Leona Lewis, JLS, the Black Eyed Peas, Fantasia, Daughtry, and others. According to the article, he and his stable of songwriters had a hand in selling over 75 million albums worldwide. Adam isn't talked about specifically in this piece, but it does show a rather intricate picture of the songwriting side of the music biz, both in terms of the "creative" process and the business realities. www.thembj.org/2011/08/jim-vellutato-vp-sonyatv-music-publishing/One of the most telling comments (and its why Adam has a chance with his Album #2 music strategies versus David Cook with his): [/i][/color][/b]. The major publishers used to work with just their own writers, and if there was an artist they were trying to get hits for, it would be all EMI or Warner Chappel, Universal or Sony/ATV music. It is no longer like this, and the business now looks to combine the best writers for the project, signed to a major publisher or not, for a hit single.[/ul]

Hi, I am a new member too. I thought I would delurk and say hi. I've been reading the forum for a little while and this seems like a really nice civilized place. I am active on ALFC, not really anyplace else.
Congratulations to all those observing their glamiversary at Hyannis. Mine was recently from Oklahoma City. I got to see videos of the concert I attended for the first time for the glamiversary and it was a whole different experience without the waving arms, heads, and cell phones ...
Anyway, I found this great song this morning about WAITING, waiting, waiting, and trying to be patient ... then read this thread and thought I'd share it ... what are some of your favorite songs about waiting?
First post -- here goes nothin'!

Ok - I can now FINALLY say I've seen this vid! And, like many others who lamented when this vid first showed up on Adamtopia, I too utterly wish Adam had the freedom to sing this song with this dance chorography with all pronouns intact in the US. The fact that Adam could not possibly perform this song in an equivalent public radio/televised event without it literally being nuetered is eyerolling. I keep wondering what would happen if someone performed this in the Puritan USA. There would not be enough pearls for pearl clutchers to clutch. In fact they would thoroughly clutch there's to the point where it shatters.
