This interview is really interesting. Isn't that what Adam has been doing? He's been writing with different people a week at a time.
I personally always liked that FYE was "eclectic" I get bored if every song sounds alike on an album. FYE had a different song for every mood. With Adam writing all the songs they should have that common thread but since He's writing with different people We should get variety. He certainly has been writing with a variety of people, and I will hope for variety on the album as well. I don't remember that he wrote with people for a week at a time--don't remember hearing that. I think the interviewee might be referring to the song-writing "camps" that we've been hearing about. |
