LOL!!! I am trying so hard to hang on and think positive. But there is so much fantasy passed on as fact and I have been disappointed before. But I keep telling myself, it is real this time so that is all I've got to steady myself. Now the question is, can I survive until Monday? Haha. I thought I was on pins and needles before, but now I'm REALLY excited and nervous! The JCS role is so close we can almost touch it. Praying that we get GREAT news in the next few days. As for the Peter Pan thing, that would be icing on the cake. I think we all want to see Adam have a diverse career that includes acting as well as singing. He's got so much to offer. He just needs the opportunities! Oh, and Sauli is adorable saying goodbye for Pharaoh. They've become good friends. Hope Adam is getting into the studio ASAP. We need new music! I think Gelly made the Peter Pan/Captain Hook thing up. Just linking it to something Adam has done as we are all wont to do. But ... how's this for random connections? I think I have almost all the Playmobil Advent calendars. My sons loved them when they were little. So ... Advent --> JC --> Adam --> Playmobil. LOL, OK, that's stretching it ... or the cosmos is aligning  |

Not a big fan of Sara's but I do like her. But it is really nice to see someone working hard to advance their careers and see it rewarded with a dream role. Happy for her. Wish for the same thing for Adam. He has also worked really hard to advance his career and create opportunities for himself. What a wonderful reward this would be for him to also get a dream role with other talented artists. |

I love Sara B. so much! She is usually great live though performing MM will be more serious than I’ve seen her. I was lucky enough to see her in Waitress not so long ago. Her personality comes across in a lot of YT vids. Performing Part of your World became a thing, but I think the 2013 sing along performance with a group in Vancouver was maybe first - it was her birthday I think and she loves Little Mermaid so... the YT vid will make you smile. Vids from tour with Sugarland are also great, esp fun is C’mon Eileen w wonderful Jennifer Nettles. I hope Sara and Adam get to spend some time together. They’re both lovely and she is a fantastic songwriter with great connections and credibility across genres. For this American life, she wrote a song Seriously performed beautifully by Leslie Odom Jr - very political as it is fictionally from Pres Obama POV but gorgeous song and performance by Leslie. As you can tell, I am excite - this news pleases me. The Alice Cooper choice and Gaga talk had me a bit concerned re MM casting. Now for casting the most important role... (it’s freezing here! I remember Sara Bareilles mostly from the Sing Off, and loved that she was always a pro, always helpful and supportive to the contestants, but without mumbling just niceties. But I have to say, on that show she did stand in the shadows of the other two, especially of Ben Folds. But she sure can sing her face off. One time for Christmas, they did this little fun play together, and given that at least where I live, it is indeed cold outside...I thought I'd bring this little piece over in honor of the day. Ben is a great musician, composer, producer, etc., but does not have a lot of voice, Sara carries the tune, but with that fun little intro part, they made this work in their own way. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FqSeASiLOUSara is vocally very strong, so I think we will very much do justice to the songs she is given. I have to admit, based on the film version, and also the biblical background, I always saw Mary Magdalene as a more emotional, just loving Jesus unconditionally kind of type person, and so Sara B. would not have crossed my mind as a possible casting.
