RCA Ed was apparently correct when he said that the delay in info about Adam's single and album was because of Adam's switch in management. Still no release dates but I have heard that the entire promotional plan is being redone -- and to Adam's benefit. [grin] I like the sound of that.....but what does/could it actually mean?? My interpretation based on what I know about 19M is that DMG is much more demanding than 19 ever was. Rumor is that DMG is pushing for a much more aggressive radio promo plan. I do not know much about DMG and cannot confirm this -- just hearing from the RCA side. But it makes sense. Cook is a good example of how slow RCA can be -- his lead single was DOA and RCA is just now talking about a second single. RCA does not want to invest millions of dollars in airplay and try to do radio promo very efficiently. It is actually a great model for the label and OK for the artist. Massive radio promo is very expensive.

Just did an emergency repair on a necklace by stripping the insulation off a piece of cable wire and using a strand to restring the beads and fix the clasp. #geeksrule

As usual, I know nothing, but I will say, knowing it takes a ton of money to get a hit single, I hope they take whatever they saved by not releasing SW and pour it into this first single from #2. I want at least a Top 5 hit. And that concludes my entitled post for this evening...

OT, kind of
Finally decided to watch Pinks funhouse tour from australia. Question is that guy in yellow in the beginning Adams friend Leo? (can't remember his last name, but he was in Adam's IIHY video) looks like him, but just looks a little big or stocky to actually be him..

Yes, that's Leo Moctezuma - friend of Adam's from a while ago and choreographer (I believe) on Pink's Funhouse tour.

Looks like the cut off date for Fall was 11/1/11. Adam should have one of the top 25 selling albums of the Fall-Winter season -- but still no release date -- not even a bracketed date. So difficult for BB to include. RCA Ed was apparently correct when he said that the delay in info about Adam's single and album was because of Adam's switch in management. Still no release dates but I have heard that the entire promotional plan is being redone -- and to Adam's benefit. How can you say that Adam's single/album has been delayed when the November 8th date has been the rumor all along? ... Can you give some information why you are saying that anything regarding Adam's project has been delayed because that is a pretty big statement without proof. 1) I know NOTHING about anything (like, seriously), but it looks to me like Q3 said there was a delay in INFO about the album and single, not necessarily in the release schedule (lol so we can all calm right down 2) Glad you all liked that old stealth article I stumbled across. I liked it too. :D 3) I totally get why y'all found that Chris Brown thing funny, and I've got no particular sympathies for Chris Brown, believe me, but I've gotta say something about watching all those rich white dudes snickering about the bad behavior of a black guy and the bad grammar/spelling of his fans made me uncomfortable. :-/. Not trying to be too serious or self-righteous or a downer--just how it struck me.

The Hollywood ReporterPower Shopping: The 25 Most Expensive Fashion Stores in the Country excerpt: Only four L.A.-area stores made the list. The trendy Maxfield in West Hollywood (8825 Melrose Avenue) is ranked No. 5. Average spent per shopping trip: 2,258. Celebrities who have been spotted there recently include Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz, Adam Lambert and David and Victoria Beckham.Link: www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/power-shopping-25-expensive-fashion-227339Makes me happy that Adam gets to shop at stores like this, LOL.
