I saw that tweet and thought that didn't sound like you! Thanks, Stardust. Even if I felt that way about my boss, I certainly wouldn't tweet it out for the universe to see. Glad you didn't think it sounded like me. I wonder what the attachment was? I certainly wasn't going to look for fear of a virus or something. Not sure how that all works, but wasn't risking it. It's just kind of creeping me out now. Yes, very smart to not click on the attachment! That's how viruses happen. |

There was never any official release dates for Adam's single or album -- so no delay technically. The original dates given to major US retailers and by Adam was that the single would be out late Summer and the album would released in November. Late Summer ends in 1 week -- and the single is not being released next Tuesday. That = a delay to me. RCA Ed essentially confirmed what I am hearing. And I have never known Ed to be wrong -- although sometimes he is out of the loop. I have gotten info from 3 different sources that the single will be mid- to late- September. All are involved with the release -- not just fan guesses. If this schedule is correct -- mid-Sept single, Nov 21-22 album -- it is brilliant for Adam. Labor Day is not a great time to release a new pop single because so many CHR stations shift to greatest hits and countdown shows. September, after everyone goes back to school across the US is perfect. So, just a rumor now -- but this is a rumor that would be great news. Summer doesn't end until September 22 and Adam's single was never going to be released before Kelly Clarksons. So that does not indicte any delay And RCA ED answers are always guesses or very vague to calm the fans on AO and He's given wrong information lots of times. Retail summer ends at Labor Day. Singles and albums are pushed back all of the time. This is not a big deal. But quite simply -- the single will not be out until mid-September and fans had expected it late August based on what Adam said in interviews. Sorry I used the word delay. But call it whatever you want -- single will not be out until September. And even that is not officially confirmed. RCA Ed is rarely vague -- he was vague about this because there was no release date when he posted. |

Is there any major awards show or television event scheduled for September where Adam could premiere his new single? I was secretly hoping for a VMA appearance. Silly me. *pouts* ...but wait. Chris Brown will be there! w00t! ...not. :( That was my dream too. But if the rumored dates are correct, I could not pick a better schedule for the release. Here is a new dream -- or two: Primetime Emmys Venue : Nokia Theatre, Los Angeles Location : Los Angeles Event Date : 09/18/2011 American Music Awards Venue : Nokia Theatre, Los Angeles, CA Location : Los Angeles Event Date : 11/20/2011 Both are not very realistic. |

hmm..i don't know, I don't think I would be able to handle it if Adam premiered his song on some major awards show. I think Adam does better when he sits with a song for a bit, and don't' jump on me, but I think Adam gets a bit nervous doing big performances, and don't' think he needs the extra pressure.

Yes, you were!  Thank you for helping get me through it Q3, what you say reassures me immensely. Even if it's just rumor, innuendo, hearsay, probable guess. I'LL TAKE IT!!! I REALLY hate not knowing ANYTHING. Bugs the crap out of me. I've never liked surprises. I have no use for them. I believe anticipation, not deptrivation is half the fun. (Ahem, Adam ...) As Adam knows full well, you give us nothing, we will make shit up. And this applies to good as well as bad. If we hear nothing for weeks at a time. we start worrying and panicking and yes, RCA Promo's twitter account no longer exists. They were considered an ally, now they've gone "poof!" Were they fired? Probably, the way things are looking. All of those variables are worrisome, but I will take a teensy hint or an educated guess. Anything! |

Who doesn't get nervous doing big performances? If you're talking about AMAs, which is all we have to draw upon (because he's nailed I'd say 99% of ever other live performance we've ever seen), he had the weight of the world on his shoulders that night. |
