Just getting the single released would be a prize big enough for all of us!

So my (and Kanadie's) guesses of Sept 20th may be right on! Do we win a prize?! If it is 9/20/11 I will come up with 2 prizes and bow in homage!! I feel safe I will not have to deliver a prize. Hey!!!!

hmm..i don't know, I don't think I would be able to handle it if Adam premiered his song on some major awards show. I think Adam does better when he sits with a song for a bit, and don't' jump on me, but I think Adam gets a bit nervous doing big performances, and don't' think he needs the extra pressure. hehe....If I'm honest I have to agree with you. But he's got to premiere it somewhere and we want it to be pretty splashy don't we? Dunno what would be best.... ??? lol, yeah. But do he really has to debut it somewhere insanely splashy? I mean cause if he do debut it somewhere huge and if it doesn't go over really well, well that just sets promo back instead of forward, and you know everyone will just be thinking about that other awards show that must not be named, don't want him to be trying to do promo, but also trying to prove himself, yet again that he's not that, nastyscarydarkgayguy... But after all of that is said, I just want him to do whatever he's confident with doing. (but I'll still be curled up somewhere, biting my nails, hoping that it all goes over well #worrywort)

Who doesn't get nervous doing big performances? If you're talking about AMAs, which is all we have to draw upon (because he's nailed I'd say 99% of ever other live performance we've ever seen), he had the weight of the world on his shoulders that night. ITA Adam has so much more experience that he had in 2009. He did the AMAs when radio was not playing his music, Hicklin had done his Open Letter and assaulted him, he was an instant celebrity who did not have any role model, etc. Now he is GNAFL. He has a successful album and, based on everything we have heard, looks like he has a quality album for #2.

Well he hasn't been on any major awards show as big as AMA's since then has he, so nothing to really compare it too. I know everyone gets nervous performing. Just don't want him to be debuting his single off his second album in almost the same type of high pressure situation.

Adam has always come off as extremely confident, but rarely if ever cocky. I really like and can appreciate the bits of cockiness he seems to be bringing to the table in regards to how he feels about Adam #2. I put my full trust in his instincts and awareness to what is popular and marketable.

He was excited about FYE and almost in awe of the opportunity he had to work with of many significant collaborators. For Adam #2, Adam was clearly in change and is so proud of what he has accomplished.
