This is how to get thru a storm!






The Adam Fan Hurricane Survival Kit

I know that “everyone” on the US East Coast is getting ready for the incoming storm. I sincerely hope that it misses all but the fish! But just in case, I thought I would put together this survival list – The Adam Fan Hurricane Survival Kit.

First make sure that all of your regular storm preparations are done. Then take a minute or two to put together an Adam Fan Hurricane Survival Kit.

1. Be prepared for a power outage. Flashlights and lanterns are just great, but a case of glow sticks are much more festive. I recommend purchasing purple glow sticks so if not needed you can use them for the upcoming tour.

2. A picture is priceless. A few Adam photos are great to have around. They look great in candlelight.

3. When the storm hits there will not be a lot to do. If you have a basic make-up kit on hand, you can entertain your friends and family for hours. You can create cat faces, vampires, glam aliens, anything you can imagine.

4. Make sure that you have an MP3 player loaded with quality (AKA Adam) music. Mix in a few other artists so your cohabitants do not think you are too compulsive. And do not forget to have back-up power.

5. Wine, wine, wine.

6. Have all the food essentials on hand: guacamole and chips, chilled fresh water shrimp and cocktail sauce, spicy sesame noodles, chocolate truffles, oranges, and cheesecake. And some candles and a nice Sauvignon Blanc.

7. Ice. No need to explain why. (OK you need to be able to chill all that wine.)

8. Un-Bored Games. Be prepared to stay in for a while. Having a few un-bored games will help pass the time. Let your imagination run wild and ask “what would Adam do?”

9. Costume Kit. When you have run out of things to do, pull out the costume kit. Make sure to have an extra makeup kit and include some feather boas, wigs, capes and great hats. WTF have a good time, storms like this happen once in a lifetime.

10. A positive attitude. Everything is more fun when you smile.

Be safe. Stay dry. Do not get blown away by anyone or anything other than AFL.
