I want new music as badly as anyone. But Adam seems so happy and confident about the new album that I can't get too upset about it. I just need to try to be patient and maybe find a new, distracting hobby for the next 8 weeks or so! lol We started angsting about how we were going to survive Dec 17, 2010 yet here we are. A few more weeks won't be that bad. Adam's tweet about singing to Sauli along with the TRUEBLOOD theme then re-listening to the song with that in mind makes everything else seem trivial. Sorry to those who are 'all about the music' but I think deep down I'm more 'all about Adam,' the music being the major facet, but other things making it beyond fun. This is me also.... So not all about the music. I am all about Adam. If he's happy I'm happy. He needs to please himself first. I'll still be here....I can wait. I hope however he plays with us on twitter more often. Or sends his boyfriend. |

I will survivie until October. I trust Adam's decisions completely. As long as it's before Christmas, I am good. But this tweet is so special for fans! He refuses to answer personal questions about Sauli for interviews, but for us, his fans, he gives us a detail about his Sunday nights with Sauli. He even included Sauli's name. He didn't have to do that but chose to share this with us. So matter of fact! I love him!  |

Thank you everyone. Even after all my deep thoughts about
"Adam the Artist" I still found myself on the ledge when I saw the EIGHT WEEKS quote.
Reminded myself of our discussion yesterday about Elvis starving his artist for mediocrity. If he had respected himself, we'd have a lot more of this to remember him by:

Lulu, yes! The only thing that is different, is that the single will be about 3 weeks later than the date I projected, 9/20. ;D I think, now, that RCA gave him the Black Friday week. IMO, that is a very good thing. It means great sales, but also, it means RCA loves this album!! Will the single have enough time to build anticipation for the album? If it's a great single, it will, And I think it's going to be a great single. I also think this album will have more than 2 great singles, so no worries. It's not opening week that matters. It's all the weeks after that! Even Katy Perry's album sales had to build over time with each successive single. At the time she released "CA Gurls" there was talk that "Did she release it too early?" Her opening week sales for the album were not what was expected. There were even articles about her disappointing sales! Ha, ha! Who has the last laugh now. A great opening week is fabulous and it gives the fans "bragging rights." But it's consistent sales that make a successful album! ETA: Oh, and that lyric he shared? I FLOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

I can just imagine him with some crazy facial expression and silly voice leaning into Sauli's face with his head cocked singing " before the night is through, I'm gonna do real bad things to you" and then letting out that howl. Hahah ! Are we to presume that Sauli's real busy time ahead is the Burning Man adventure coming up? or something else that I have overlooked? I wonder if our Nov 19th date for our Album #2 viewing party @ Mayumi's is gonna work out....Guess we can have a "New Single Party" instead. LOL Sending prayers to all Atopers in the NE ! Don't panic....just be prepared. It's always best to be over prepared. A 50 mile variance in the proposed track can make a lot of difference in the amount of wind and rain. I understand that you all have had a lot of rain lately and one of the main concerns, according to the forecasters, is falling trees because of soft ground and power outages, along with flooding. Hope the wind damage is minimal. btw: I now have a new roof ! Yay !.... but, still no windows  |
