Translation of Sauli's blog from today's Ilta-Sanomat blogit.iltasanomat.fi/sauli/ : Fast is over so now let’s eat! YAY!!! Finally the fasts have been fasted and juices been drunk including so much green tea that it’s coming out of my ears… Last night I even didn’t sleep well while I was thinking about all the things I could eat when I woke up and I felt like a little kid waiting for the Christmas Eve. However, I haven’t been able to eat very much today since I was full as a tick from a half omelette and a banana. On the other hand, you should start eating slowly after a fast and not eat big portions at one go. I do feel completely different and fresher, though, even though I fasted only for four days. It’s amazing that the two first days were really pain and the nerves were “just a little” on edge, but on the third and fourth day I was feeling absolutely perfect. I would have wanted to continue this for a couple of days more, but now I have so much stuff coming that I need proper energy (that means food). It will take a couple of days to get back to the eating rhythm. I can really recommend this fast thing gladly for everybody. Just remember that the first two days are really torture, but you survive them by cursing… hahah!!! It’s not wise to have any active exercise planned during the fast, because your body can’t manage it and you can start feeling really weak. This was not supposed to be any kind of diet but cleansing of the body, even though you do lose weight quite easily with it if you continue it for a longer time. So if you have stuffed yourself that Finnish low-fat grill food for the past couple of months, this definitely works!!! And Brad Pitt didn’t look back at me from the mirror yet but I really don’t want to look that old, anyway… yay! I forgot to mention that last week I went to Long Beach, which is about 45 minutes’ drive from LA. A wonderful place! My Finnish friend lives there with her husband and I visited them. Long Beach is a city along the shore and it is a totally different world compared with this crowded Hollywood. We went kayaking and it cost only 8 dollars per hour. Cheap!! It was my first time kayaking and I was a little lost with paddling at first, but after a little lurching I got the hang of it. I can tell you that after paddling for one hour to a slight headwind my arms were suffering just a little bit from lactic acid! It was worth it, though, because the scenery was unbelievable and our route took us through canals which had luxurious beach houses on both sides. We also went to eat after our rough exercise hour at a restaurant called Gyu-Kaku, where you prepare your food yourself. On the menu you have different kind of meat and vegetables from which you select and order what you want. There is a small grill in the middle of the table where you can prepare the meat and the side dishes yourself. The food was to die for and my absolute favorite was asparagus wrapped in bacon… ah!! This same restaurant can also be found in Beverly Hills, but if you are coming this way, do go and visit Long Beach (and I did already promise to be a tour guide for the Finns, you know) hah!! Experiences in LA with Sauli and I can promise that when you get home, you will need another week of vacation!! Last night we had yet again a raccoon meeting at the backyard and the noise was shocking… It’s funny how those raccoons are starting to feel the same as if you saw a squirrel in Finland.. But now Sauli is saying good morning to everybody and have a nice weekend. To myself I say good night and go to bed with earplugs in the ears… /S

Morning all!
8 weeks until a new single.
I don't understand that or the music business.
Could someone explain the rationale for it?
I'm not sure about what's supposed to be posted in the Adam 2 thread, but maybe these tweets should be saved there??

readon - exactly!
These little glimpses of domestic bliss - from Twitter, from Sauli's blog - they are just so . . . so! ("So . . . so!" is an expression an old room-mate of mine used when she couldn't quite find the next word.)

To be a fly on the wall to see the silliness and bitching through the fast. But eight weeks for new music.

Well, I choose to think that he is estimating on the long side in order to stifle the never ending questions about it. It'll shine when it shines.
