Everytime I watch True Blood I will be thinking of Sauli and Adam. Can't wait to get my throw with Adam's picture on it. I think it will comfort me all next winter. Right now husband and I are on the second season of True Blood. We watch a CD a night from Netflix. Lovin' it.

I guess he going to miss the grammy nomination cut off date. If he doesn't care, then I guess I shouldn't. oh well I'm glad that Adam isn't releasing a single that would be in completion against Adele. Glam Nation Tour Live DVD will be eligible for the Grammy Award for "Best Long Form Music Video" Adam can win this award and then perform whatever single He's promoting at the time on the Grammy's ;D ;D |

I want new music as badly as anyone. But Adam seems so happy and confident about the new album that I can't get too upset about it. I just need to try to be patient and maybe find a new, distracting hobby for the next 8 weeks or so! lol We started angsting about how we were going to survive Dec 17, 2010 yet here we are. A few more weeks won't be that bad. Adam's tweet about singing to Sauli along with the TRUEBLOOD theme then re-listening to the song with that in mind makes everything else seem trivial. Sorry to those who are 'all about the music' but I think deep down I'm more 'all about Adam,' the music being the major facet, but other things making it beyond fun. |

I guess ,in a way, Adam is more interested in being the artist than gaining awards. I so admire him for taking his time with his new album . IMHO, he wants this second album to reflect Adam ,the man and his art.I just love and admire him more and more.
My daughter is running for City Council, and had a fund raiser the other day. It was at the home of a gifted LA pianist,who is big time in the movie industry and in the LA theater world. You have no idea how much I wanted to ask him if he knows Adam.Promised my family I would button my lips up and concentrate on her campaign.SO hard to do... LOL

Roof is as fixed as its gonna get for now.
Trying to figure out if we need to disassemble the kid's playhouse, and if so, where the hell are we going to put it??
There's a half a cord of firewood, riding toys, a grill, and lawn furniture still outside.
We should be fine on the food, water, and light front. Just don't know where to put the "potentially flying material". We don't have room to bring it all in, and I'm not sure how hard the wind might blow. Can metal furniture get airborne? Its ancient second-hand stuff so I won't shed tears if it gets damaged (I need to derust/repaint it or get rid of it anyways), but I sure don't want it hitting the house! :-/ :-(

IDK what to think about that lyric...lmao. It's...erm....yeeeah. But then I realize it's totally out of context and that if modern top 40 pop music has taught us anything is that lyrics can be stupid as all get out (But God I hope his aren't lol) and as long as the beat is hook-y and dance-y then no one gives a shit really. I am just racking my brain trying to think of how this is sung......hmm maybe he like speaks it like Madonna with..."Ladies with an attitude....show 'em that we're in the mood..." LOL Um, yeah, that, Chunkey. It sounded pretty tacky to me. But I agree with you, taking it out of context could do that for a lyric, and it's not like top 40 wins a pulitzer prize for writing. Thanks for talking me down from the ledge. |

Bleh, I wrote a post full of WTFs and then I deleted it all. I just hope Adam's management and record label know what they are doing and have this very best interest at heart. I also hope the new album is good enough. This is essential at this point. ETA: Sorry for not being super positive. It's interesting, I flail with the best of them, yet I usually don't feel the need to post when I'm in flail mode, only when I'm in worry mode. Sorry about that  |
