ITA. I'm not a Pink fan but when she put WWFM on her greatest hits album, I lost a lot of respect for her. Also, one of Adam's haters reveled in some review that said the concert was all Queen covers and a Pink cover. How are they Queen covers if members of the original band or performing them? No, it should NOT be called a cover. And I appreciate the explanation as to what constitutes a cover. Some people just don't understand the difference. As to WWFM, I know it was Adam's hit but I never liked it much. To me, it's rather plodding and unexciting. He sings it beautifully, of course, as he does everything. But I wish he would choose something different of his own to sing with QAL, like maybe Shady or even Pick U Up or These Boys. They are upbeat and fun and show off his voice beautifully. I know many Adam fans love WWFM, and that's fine, but to me it not a show-stopper. It just slows it down a little. JMHO I loved WWFM. Also loved Shady but no one would know that as it was not a hit in Australia or anywhere. And unless he is singing a new song (Two Fux) it probably does not make sense (to him) to sing an older song that no one knows. Even if it is not a show stopper it is one of his hits. I don't think any of his songs would be a show stopper in a Queen show. I am hoping he will have a new song out tho for the European summer concerts. As for covers, Adam is now the Queen frontman and he is singing their catalog with the band so they are not covers. And WWFM was not a cover either even if Pink and some others wrote it. It wasn't called a cover when it was moving up the charts and going double platinum in the US and multiple other countries. So no need for them to try to re-write history now because Pink did not release it and make it a hit but just slapped it on her hits album later.

I agree that what he sings in a Queen concert needs to be a hit or a new song. IMO, I don't think Two Fux was a good song, and it got brutally attacked on those Queen sites. Too bad Ghost Town was not a hit in NZ. It was a big one in Australia and I think it went over well in Rock in Rio.

I hope Adam has a new song for the next group of concerts so he can get some exposure. I doubt any of his songs would go over well with the Queen site angry birds. But does anyone even care what they think about Adam or his songs? I know I don't regard their opinions of Adam as evidence of anything.

Pretty sure they are not going to buy his music anyway.

I don't think I've seen any comments on what a horrible song WWFM or Ghost Town was. I do care how Adam's music is perceived (I guess I am a nobody), and I don't think it is 100% Queen site angry birds complaining. I don't remember any of the professional reviewers raving about Two Fux either. I think it's probably one of the worst songs he ever done besides BTIKM, Never Close Our Eyes, and Welcome To The Show, so why even include it in the show.

Sorry, I was actually talking about Two Fux. I personally don't think it was a good song to include in the set. I went to 5 or 6 shows in the US and the reception always felt lukewarm or polite clapping. With regards to WWFM, sounds like on the current thread that it seems to be the bathroom break song.

The inclusion of "Two Fux" was Brian's idea, if I remember that correctly. I read many posts (on Queen-sites), that people liked it and found it fitting. They were not jumping in joy, though - they were there for Queen. And since it's a Queen-show, most people in the audiences are Queen-fans. Especially since they have made it clear in the last years, that they almost exclusively play Queen-songs. So what did you expect? I can't see the majority of the Queenies going wild for an Adam-song. And if I was in their shoes: Guess, when I would take a potty-break? (But I actually barely saw anybody leave the show at all - at no time- at all my 5 QAL-shows. Something a girl, who worked in the Mercedes-Benz-Arena in 2015 mentioned: She had never had such few customers during a concert, who wanted to buy a drink. It had been completely boring out there.) I can tell you, that I heard many screams of joy, both in Prague and Munich, when they heard the first notes of WWFM. The glamberts were more than happy - and you could hear it and the people around them were smiling. I think, the glamberts deserve that one song! Even though the rest of the audience is just bopping along. (No they didn't run for the toilet!) The one song, that fell completely flat in Munich IMO was "Get down, make love". A few Queenies were very happy to hear it, but at the end of the song there was almost silence. It was shocking to me! From my experience, the audiences at these concerts know mainly Queen's hits. They can go wild for them. Compared to the hits, every other song seems to be received lukewarm. Unfortunately it's a reason, why they dropped SYW and IL.
