This probably doesn't belong here because it's just speculation but there's not much Numbers stuff to talk about LOL.
Someone on twitter who appears to be quite knowledgeable about radio/music, etc. is predicting that Adam's single may not be released before the radio freeze, so not until Jan. 2012. Reason cited is the abundance of male releases in Oct. Taio, Bruno, etc.
What think you?

I am clueless except to say that I don't really think Adam is afraid of competition (except maybe SuBo  ) and that there will be competition any month from somebody. If the song is good it will played. |

If his single isn't released, it will be because he's not ready, not because he's concerned with the competition. Remember, WWFM was released the end of Nov. and did fine! I think he has a lot of confidence in his first single and I'll bet he has more than one great song to choose from. Releasing in January, would be worse than putting up with the freeze. All those i-Tune giftcards, from holiday gifts, will be mostly used the 2 weeks after Christmas! That being said, whenever he releases the single and album is fine with me. I have taken myself off of a release schedule! LOL! |

Yep, I've take myself off schedule too. I'm ready and fine with whatever the release date is. I trust that his single/album is so great that people will buy no matter when it comes out.
