Interesting that there now seems to be a lot of gay guys who think Adam is hot. I still remember reading comments on gay sites saying he was ugly. That Kris Allen was the hot one. What a turnaround. Yeah, I remember all of that back during Idol. As a bi girl, I thought he was gorgeous and sexy back then, too. (I was an Adison+Matt fan.) I don't know what people think about Kris's hotness now, but it's nice to see the turnaround for Adam, especially knowing he was already self-conscious of things he was ruthlessly picked apart for back then (particularly his skin). Since I leapfrogged all those years in between, it's been rewarding and kind of hilarious to see the stark difference back-to-back. I scrolled through twitter's advanced search for things like the NYE show on BBC, his appearances on Glee, his mentoring gig on XF Australia, etc., and constantly seeing references to how hot he is by so many other men (gay, bi, even straight) made me smile. His appearance on RPDR seemed to generate about ~40% ire from Trixie fans and ~60% lust from everyone else. I want to say that the less glam he is and the more natural his hair color, the more gushing he seems to get... but there were an awful lot of lustful tweets about him during that NYE show, too. haha  I think that is my second favorite appearance of his, visually speaking, tied with X Factor AU (especially the 3 chair challenge episodes) and Glee "Trio," but my top favorite is probably a round of interviews he did one day in Australia (I think) back in 2015? Not sure of the date, but he's wearing a white long-sleeved shirt and a black leather vest, with some torn/layered jeans. There was a photo series against a red background. He looked SO good that day, wow. I wish he'd have that hairstyle again, only with his natural hair color. Perfect amount on top, sides, and back, in my opinion, as well as the perfect amount of scruff. His hair is a little short on the sides for me with this new cut. I don't like it as much when it looks nearly bald from some angles, but he'll work the look, as usual! |

Don't even know what to say to the above post...
I'm torn between annoyed, just WTF...what is the guys freaking problem?!!!^^...and not wanting to give the guy attention for something he doesn't deserve attention for (Imho)
Can't help feeling he's just trying to create drama and getting attention out of it...
I've decided that this would be a perfect occasion to just not give "two fux"

Well, it's nice of him to admit how hot Adam is, but it's a shame he doesn't take the opportunity to understand how his behaviour is perceived by people who don't know him well, and try to improve himself. He "assumes" that Adam's out to get him, when everyone who watched the episode can see that Adam's attitude was all positive and open and warm. If he said "I have to think how I come accross next time, so people don't misunderstand me like that", I'm sure people would've reacted more positively towards him.

Yeah, she doesn't seem very aware of how she might come across. Adam is so pumpkin pie, why would she think he'd be out to get her? Just because of a joke that Adam didn't get? I like how nobody thinks that maybe Adam did get her humor just fine but perhaps didn't like it or felt it was also full of attitude, not just humor by itself. That's one thing I appreciated about Adam on Idol (and just in general) is that he gets the distinction between his intent and how others might perceive him differently. That was a lesson hard learned for him with the AMAs, for sure.
Oh, well!

He's upset with Adam ?when he actually made Adam feel unwelcome.. HA not working.. IMHO,Attention is the name of this game.five more minutes of fame.. Wow Adam close up must be glorious. Adam is really a great coach ,too bad this kitty didn't listen and learn. |
