I was watching The Voice last night.
It started me wondering what it was, what tone, nuance, range, that prompted the judges to turn their chairs after hearing only several, or maybe even just one, note from the singer. Again, no technical knowledge here, but I assume it is something flawless, or different, or highly (effectively) technical that I can't discern.
Then I started thinking how cool would it be if they had a Pranked episode where an already established singer (of course I am thinking Adam) came out and sang, masquerading as a contestant.
They couldn't see him, wouldn't know who is singing. Would they turn on his (Adam's) first note(s)?
And I wonder what song he would choose? If I were choosing for him I would choose blues.

I would be scared of this because of what happened to Kerry Ellis on the UK Voice. I wasn't sure why she was on the show because I thought she was established. Maybe just people who are in the theatre and not the general public know about her?

This was such a great leg of the tour. Big success. It does make me sad tho when some in the media will not allow Adam to have one song in the concert without the digs. So it wasn't a favorite to some but I doubt any of his songs would be a favorite in a Queen concert. Makes me fear that he or Brian/Roger will exclude any song for him going forward. That would be a shame because Adam brings so much to the tour and obviously he wanted WWFM included. Why wouldn't he want to show that he has a hit or two under his belt? I liked the way they did it and don't understand the complaints. It was one song. From what I understand, Paul Rogers had several songs include when he toured with Queen. But since Adam was reluctant to have any of his songs included in the beginning, I would not be surprised if he returned to that policy and decided to avoid that criticism all together. That would not be a very good reward to him for all he brings to the table.
Adam really put on a fantastic performance at the highest level with enthusiasm and joy. Nice to see a glimpse of him enjoying dinner in Sydney, doing normal things, before heading home and back to work. Good for him.

They have actually had singers, who were once stars, try for a comeback and no one turned. And knowing the shade Levine has thrown at our Adam and Idol, I would not put an embarrassing setup past them.

About Adam saying he'd be home "next week." Kind of thinking that to Adam "next week" means this week. LOL!

Later he said, he will be in the studio next week. And he has to get home before, right? (And get his dog. And maybe congratulate his Dad and his new wife.)

I just get the feeling that "next week" to him was just meaning after the next show. He could be back already. All the flights from Sydney to LA leave mid morning there and arrive early morning here.
