I thought the Gaga intro was flat-out terrific. Really interesting. I'd have to rewatch to see exactly what he's saying, but to me it sounded like a direct response to people (like me ;D) who complain that she's always Gaga and never Stefanie, that she takes the act too seriously, and that you don't know who or where the real woman is. The bit where she supposedly told Joe, "I'm theater and you're just the dress rehearsal," (or something like that, I'm going off memory)--wow, ballsy commitment to her schtick. Acknowledging the criticism and its accuracy, mocking herself for it, and then doubling down. I thought it was impressively self-aware, and kinda fascinating. Now, totally diff topic, um, my cheeky damn dog just snuck up to the kitchen counter and stole a block of cheddar (maybe 3x2x1 inches?!) and swallowed it before we noticed. She's about 27 lbs... Do I need to panic? (Sorry for the off topic question--don't need a million answers, maybe just a consolling pat on the back and "she'll be fine".*crosses fingers*)... Don't worry, my dog once ate a frozen roast and 20 boy scout chocolate bars in one day!

damn sturdy wires.
(sorry MWP, I got distracted by some idiot. Doggie should be fine - maybe a wee bit bunged up tomorrow?)

Sounds pretty small, to me, MWP. I would think it is digestable. There might be a pet clinic you can call or check on-line. That's where we checked when our Lab puppy swallowed a whole sock. A WHOLE SOCK?!!! I'd rather eat the roast and the 20 chocolate bars! Thanks, guys, I think she'll be fine. She survived eating three pairs of my headphones and my computer chord WHILE IT WAS PLUGGED INTO THE OUTLET, after all. #piggydog Just hope she doesn't pay the price in the middle of the night and leave us with the clean-up! Still getting used to the in-laws apartment, which has a bench on one side of the kitchen peninsula, giving her access to things she could never reach at home. #damnnomorelingeringdinnerdishes Also, ignorant question here, does Chris Brown every actually, you know, sing?

I should have added she was really sick and threw them all up, but she was ok.

You've already gotten two helpful responses, so I'm just here to console you! There, there! You're a good doggie owner! It's not like you can keep your eyes focused on them 24/7. Dogs have been eating things they shouldn't for generations... How'm I doin'?

I should have added she was really sick and threw them all up, but she was ok. I was reading quickly and thought you were referring to Lady Gaga!

I'm laughing, reading from the EW live blog that Jessie J sang no scrubs after Chris Brown performance, that..is so ironic lol.

Peace symbol update. Anyone else running into these everywhere, and I mean everywhere?
The state fair, yep craft booth on the midway had a blue bag calling my name. I bought it because of Adam. iCarly had two people, including iCarly herself wearing a peace symbol shirt in the same episode. Craigslist has the peace symbol as it's web page badge on the url line. I mean I have not had a day go by since he announced it that I haven't seen the symbol on someplace that I had never noticed before.
