I thought the Gaga intro was flat-out terrific. Really interesting. I'd have to rewatch to see exactly what he's saying, but to me it sounded like a direct response to people (like me ;D) who complain that she's always Gaga and never Stefanie, that she takes the act too seriously, and that you don't know who or where the real woman is. The bit where she supposedly told Joe, "I'm theater and you're just the dress rehearsal," (or something like that, I'm going off memory)--wow, ballsy commitment to her schtick. Acknowledging the criticism and its accuracy, mocking herself for it, and then doubling down. I thought it was impressively self-aware, and kinda fascinating. Gaga as Joe was intriguing to say the least.   |

My son's dog (Aussie/dalmatian mix) just ate one of those automatic watering glass bulb things...stood there wagging her tail looking proud as he tried to pick glass from her bleeding lips  Dogs do eat the darndest things  She's alright, vet says to watch her you-know-what  |

Maitospf, OMG! Glass! I'd watch that real close if you know what I mean. I loved Amy Winehouse. Her Back To Black was my favorite. Bruno did a good job but he's no Amy!

Bruno's talented but this performance just makes me miss Amy Winehouse... maitospf: !!! glad she's okay! Yes, thanking her doggie guardian angel...she keeps him working overtime for sure. Thank god my Max is past that stage. Hope your pup doesn't suffer any ill effects. Gaga does not make a pretty boy - guess that makes it more believable. |

That had to be the dumbest set of categories I have ever seen for an awards show. How can Britney be nominated for Best Pop Video and win, but not be nominated for Best Female Video. Huh? :-/ How can Firework win for Video of the Year, but not win for Best Female Video? Huh? :-/ And if it won for Best Video of the Year, why was Firework not even nominated in Best Pop Video? ???
Geez, I pretty much don't care if Adam ever gets nominated for one of these! What a farce!
