We seem to be in the eye of Irene right now so everything is quiet. Our property looks like we are in the middle of a swamp/ river but we have electricity and the basement is dry. I read the bennyblanco tweet and could both him and Adam be joking about the DSK (Dominique Strauss-Kahn) scandal? I hope things continue to go well for you with Irene. I have no idea how my power stayed on but it did. I only lost cable (I'll take that trade-off!), and no flooding. We in the SE Virginia area were pounded for 24 hours but could have been much worse. |

NoAngel  Q3, to me Pop has always meant Popular. That's the original meaning. And back a few centuries decades ago, that's how radio was. Music wasn't so compartmentalized. I can remember there being Country stations and then everything else. I pretty much hate the way radio has made so many stations that focus on genre. It has to be complicated for the labels too, "Should we release this song to HAC, AC, hope for CHR, Rock!" ... etc!

NoAngel! Sometimes it frightens me that we are allowed to have so much fun - often at Adam's or another ATOP member's expense. My husband thought what I was reading had to be at least a little salacious to cause so much laughter, but I explained it's a like belonging to a secret society where only the members "get it." Maybe the fan club should include decoder rings with our $29.99.
