I don't think we're her demographic! She has close to 10 million followers on Twitter. Crazy, huh?! My niece, who is 23, thinks Kim is the most gorgeous being to ever walk this planet! She loves everything about her. I'm sure she will be buying every magazine that has anything about the wedding. :  |

I know she has a lot of followers, but then so did Charlie Sheen for about a minute and a half. Ten million is insane. I have nothing against KK, she's very attractive and savvy and has made a gazillion dollars marketing what she had to work with. But when vapid exploitation supersedes hard work and talent at every turn, I have to say WTF? Again, it all started with some producers ( looking at YOU, Seacrest) decided we needed this in our lives, then proceeded to fabricate a celebrity from a family name and an attractive face and body. And yes, it's been done before. I'm not questioning whether it works or not (obviously, it does), but where does it start or end is what confuses me. |

I agree! It baffles me. And The Jersey Shore??? OMG! That one I really don't get. The Kardashian's I can maybe understand because kids want to be like her, maybe? But really? Jersey Shore?! This whole reality TV craze has even most in Hollywood baffled. I know the actors aren't thrilled because it takes away from actual series that they could be cast in. Hopefully, it's a phase. :-/

I agree! It baffles me. And The Jersey Shore??? OMG! That one I really don't get. The Kardashian's I can maybe understand because kids want to be like her, maybe? But really? Jersey Shore?! This whole reality TV craze has even most in Hollywood baffled. I know the actors aren't thrilled because it takes away from actual series that they could be cast in. Hopefully, it's a phase. :-/ The writers aren't too thrilled about it either. :-/ :-/  |
