Hank Florence While looking through some old newspaper clippings, one of my students (making a documentary about our drama program, needed some old pictures of me) made the discovery that I was once a vocal finalist with Adam Lambert, before he was Adam Lambert. Weird.

Ok, this is off topic, but we are only on page 2, so I thought it was time for a good laugh, and then someone just now sent this to Adam on twitter, and so I am bringing it here. Oh, yes, and the guy is Finnish, so there is that... www.facebook.com/VivalangaApp/videos/762208897308105/ Enjoy. ETA: well I lied about the page number...lol, but it is still funny. This is absolutely hilarious! I laughed the whole way through. Talk about a "kickass" comedian! LOL

I checked it out! Oooh....nice(!)...I like Sanjaya's transformation. The song is very soulful and sexy..."Talking in Circles"? ... and immediately my mind was wondering how I would love to see Adam go that direction in at least a couple of his songs haha. A bit OT but still Adam related, so here is the clip that I am talking about and that was posted in the article www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=33&v=6TQLol9k_s8 I loved Sanjaya on Idol - he was so ridiculous and admirably secure in himself as a 17 year old, and how cool that he managed to garner fans and drive Simon nuts?! I felt very entertained by him. The mature Sanjaya is appealing to me, visually and sonically. I think he found a niche for his voice. bamafan, I had to open up the youtube just to check to see if it was really him sizzling I agree, the blues, soul fits Sanjaya well, and like with Adam it's so nice to understand everything he's saying w/o having to strain to hear words. With Adam, I just wish he'd put out a double album of whatever's he's working on since he can do every genre, then we might find other gems like Runnin that almost got dropped completely.OMG, YES!!!

Old article. billboard @billboard From Adele to Jay-Z & Kanye West, here are 10 songs you didn't know Bruno Mars wrote blbrd.cm/v7mtLuAdam Lambert - “Never Close Our Eyes” After listening to Adam Lambert’s sophomore record, Trespassing, “Never Close Our Eyes” was an instant standout from what was, as a whole, Lambert’s best record (until The Original High, of course). The electro-pop jam, which was written by Mars, Dr. Luke, and more, never took off as a single, but it still stands as one of Mars’ best co-writes. Though the title tells us to never close our eyes, we can envision Mars as the sole artist if we do, and boy, it’s a fun thought. I really think that was one of his worst songs. Not Adam's voice but the song itself. Of course if Bruno released it, it would have been an instant smash hit.

NCOE is one of the few TP songs that I skip regularly. Lots of other gems on that album though.

To me it is worse than any of the quite terrible songs on the 2 bastard albums...the fact billboard is saying “an instant standout” and “Mars’ best co-writes” just shows how far up Bruno’s ass everyone is...(and now I am thinking of that comedy routine...lol...thanks for posting it)
