Isn't this Adam's cover of "Stay"? From the "wig" contestant on American Idol. Uhm, no ridiculous runs all over the place. Pageant performance. Yep, that's Adam's cover version for sure. I do love that song. It's beautiful.

LOL Adam on insta!!! LOL. Loved the instagram livechat. Adam unfiltered is delicious. Can't wait for the new music from what he tells us about era 4 - its gonna be amazing! I had a few busy weeks and tried to keep up with the threads. As for that question Adam asked us well its hard to choose a song, even 3, that define Adam as an artist for me. My personal favourites are " Underneath", "There I said it" & " Aftermath" because I love the messages they send, the music, the vocals, the honesty in all of them, love everything in those songs and they feel as if Adam speaks directly to me when I listen to them. Underneath made me cry the first time I've heard it, I get chills everytime I listen to it. Vocally, I'd say Sleepwalker & Time of miracles and Runnin would be the songs I can't think of any other artist being able to do like Adam sings them. Especially Sleepwalker...everytime I rewatch the multitude of live versions Adam did on tour, it just blows my mind again and again. I honestly can't imagine anyone else doing a cover of that song that would sound even close to what Adam did. It looks like we all have our favorites, and most of us seem to have a hard time naming one song only as the defining one of Adam's career so far. There are so many songs that I absolutely love, but for me Chokehold, Runnin, and Shady come to mind if I have to think of favorites. Still, I say this with hesitation as there are so many other songs that I absolutely love. One song for every mood for sure. I really like Adam's vulnerable and sensual side, and I like to get a taste of "real Adam".

She killed it on SNL and the Grammy's. Of course Adam did a fantastic cover of it. Jared Letto also did a really good version of it on an award show. This guy was okay but I think all the others did it better.

THIS!!!
“I sing with everything I’ve got and I try to put as much passion into it as I can, which I think the audience can see. I think I’ve earned the right to be there now.”
Cool to see that he definitely owns sharing the stage with world icons.
And... I love the insight regarding his new music:
“It’s an interesting juggling act being on the road then coming home and writing songs, but I really appreciate it, as it’s allowed me to step away from the project and come back with fresh ears."
“I can come back and consider what’s working, what I like, what feels authentic or I think will connect with people."
“I’m really excited about it though and I think the fans will be too, as it’s a turning point for me."
“It’s a lot more organic than I’ve done before and explores a lot more deeper emotions than anyone has heard me do before."
I AM MORE THAN EXCITED!!!!!!

I love it, too!!! When I saw this on twitter earlier today, I noticed that someone replied that hopefully we will see more stuff like this for Adam's "era 4". Shoshanna replied to that in the sense that nowadays we don't think of eras anymore. I would have liked to bring her tweet over, but it looks like Shoshanna deleted it. She probably got swamped with all sorts of questions.

Interesting perspective on Adam’s process as part of his Queen experience. RE: GDML: Although North America this summer did miss getting to hear Adam do all of Bo-Rhap,, I do think that in general we by far lucked out on the GDML performances. I don’t Remember any floor humping (which made zero sense to me and almost undercut the build-up and impact of the song). I just stopped watching after this type of performance happened a couple of times, but that might be just me. There are probably a few European performances where the performances of GDML are a bit different, but I don’t know. . If you haven’t watched any of the North American performances of GDML, I would say start with the Boston performance (heat wave warning), and if you are interested, wander around some more North American cities where they performed. I totally get what you're saying phronni7 . For me too, Adam is the most sexy when he doesn't try too hard. Less is definitely more for me in terms of drawing me in. However, I understand that there are different artistic interpretations for a song like GDML. Hetero male point of view here GDML is not about being sexy. It is about (rough) SEX. It has a background projection of naked ladies in windows (very Amsterdam Red Light District IMHO), and just listen to those lyrics! The song literally calls for a certain acting interpretation. So when he sings that song without "getting down", I am totally disappointed and feel like he is half-assing the performance. YMMV.
