Sort of OTT...but not. I am heading off to a local protest being held Canada wide, in support of those trying to stop KinderMorgan from building a pipeline to haul OIL tar diluted with bitumin for export to China. One spill of this goo and our coastline would suffer irreparable damage. Why it is related here is that there will be organizers present to arrange for more people to go and sit at the gates and likely, be arrested. That means there is a possibility if I were to sign up, and be arrested, I could no longer enter the US. That would mean no Queen Vegas trip...nor visits to the US friends I adore....or any AFL concerts in the US. If I don't sign up, I am not being true to myself or my home land and that is not a good thing either....what am I to do? ~tears~ twitter.com/GreenpeaceCA/media |
