Aw, JazzRocks, Max is adorable! Maybe he was just scared? I'll bet plenty of people peed on their sofas when Hurricane Irene hit!

Relevant timeline info and Adam's mention that he would likely be working into October: @caridian: In an EW interview with drake, they note that the deadline to submit the final version of his cd is end of sept. Cd release date is oct 24 music-mix.ew.com/2011/08/30/drake-interview-take-care-preview/And in that Japanese InRock interview Adam said He has to have the album done by October. Which seems to be just like Drake who has to have His album done 1 month before it is released.

I posted this 5 days ago here, but see it getting circulated again on twitter, in case you missed it, and if anybody can translate what it said about Adam would be great. it says: actually we like the dark hair of the 29 years old. But the lime green tips? Not at all Thanks, aralid! So they said they didn't like the lime green tips, somehow that made me laugh. :D

She did a Q&A this afternoon. •Album is vocally different than anything she’s done before. Every producer captured how she sounds live. It doesn’t sound auto-tunedAnd, this is interesting and very relevant to Adam's album release. Even though we've heard since April that Kelly was finished, look at this answer: •She got an email about the final track list list today. The basic 13 are down, but still working on bonus tracks, etc. Won’t release the track info until closer to October 25 release date.•The album will be released overseas the same time as the US, and she will tour abroad. “We’re going to Europe,” she said.

Since the demographics of Americans seem to be getting older and living longer.. 29 is the new 20 .. so Adam has a lot more time.. and an older audience to appreciate his great talent. I think Adam may be the new great male pop singer, but I believe he will open the door for more male singers with vocal chops. This rap stuff has to wear out someday. IMHO He can do it all and I think he will, including theater, movies. Of course all I'm really sure of is that I miss him and wish he was on TV weekly if not daily. I think we haven't begun to see what Adam can and will do. Yes, he wants to be a pop star, so I want that for him. But, he has such an extraordinary talent, I think that pop will eventually become too confining for his musicality and his voice. I think he will want something more challenging. (That is unless he reinvents pop to match the range of his voice.) What that might be, who knows, but it could include musical theater or even light opera. It could happen.... ..or classical opera ... I am allowed to dream, yes? say, when he is in his forties... re rap - I think it is great actually. My only problem is that it is somehow, for some strange reason is called singing, when in fact it is a rhythmic poetry recital accompanied by jerky body movements. I agree it is a genre onto itself, but it is not singing. My DS's close friend writes great rap stuff, and the beautiful thing is that he recites it with classical music in the background - the juxtaposition of the two is wonderful! He would never say "I sing", he says "I rap".

since there are no Adam news and other singers are discussed, here is a Jessie J song. Discovered it yesterday and I like it very much.
Voice and personality. Of course live she is nowhere near Adam's level (judging only by 3,4 songs I heard), but NO ONE is. But I think a duet with her and Adam would be nice and would help both of them. She is up and coming and they have similar image.

Although I'm not a fan of rap, I understand that some folks really enjoy it - my objection is calling it "Rap Music". Music is a combination of rhythm and ~melody. Rap is completely lacking the melody and just doesn't qualify as "Music". Sometimes it is set to music, so you hear music behing the rapping - but rap in and of itself is NOT music to me. I happen to really dislike Bluegrass, but I will still call it music - it's just not the kind of music I enjoy.

@thefilmqueen has done and INCREDIBLE slideshow of one of the Hawaii shows. Every single shot is beautiful and it's almost like a frame-by-frame narrative of GNT. Click on link and then View As Slideshow. Gorgeous photography and photo editing: s986.photobucket.com/albums/ae342/Amaryllispics/Adam%20Lambert/Glamnation%20Tour%202010/Honolulu%20HI%20October%2026%202010/?albumview=slideshowTurns out she isolated these from her vids; they are crystal clear and the result is very powerful – like seeing his entire process in slow mo. Every frame she chose is a still unto itself. During certain speech parts, she captions the frame with what he's saying. I got a little misty when I realized during his pre-IIHY speech, "It doesn't mean shit, unless your connected with love" that he had no idea he would meet The One just 10 days later.
