Hi from Finland!  Sauli's friend Niko is getting married three weeks from now (August 25th). Do you think there could be any chance we might see Sauli or even Adam among the wedding guests? That would certainly put some life in the Finnish media. |

lol, they promote the upcoming Big Brother season in Finland with two dogs named Adam and Sauli.  Is that even legal? ;D The dogs' owner looks happy though. |

Love our Finn "in-laws" and I think you're the first guy to join in the conversation. :Clap: :Clap: :Clap: :Clap: I was just looking at Adam's "empty" calendar and it does look like Sauli and Adam could fly from Australia and be just in time for the wedding. Did Sauli and Adam ever get together with Niko again after "the incident" that we know of? I'm assuming that's all water under the bridge. I guess since Niko and his fiance are already celebrities, the addition of 2 more famous guests wouldn't distract from "their" day. It would be really fun to see the press coverage. Got to fill in Adam's calendar somehow. This would be a good start. IMHO 8-) |

I love the blog from Japan!! He is so damn cute! ETA: Perhaps Sauli is going to Finland instead of Australia? I mean Adam is only there for a few days, that we know of. Besides, Adam needs top get back here for the Idol PR!  |

Sauli's friends Niko and Sofia got married yesterday in Helsinki. No mention of Sauli in the news so it seems he stayed in LA. Lola who was a guest in Tutka was one of the guests. They had a party in restaurant Namu which is owned by Sedu Koskinen, also guest in Tutka. In the same restaurant Sauli partied with friends in December. New season of Big Brother Suomi starts today. Their promo included Sauli and Adam (and the dogs). In Tutka Sauli commented on the use of their pictures, especially use of Adam's picture, being a bit too much. The TV spot has not been reshot but in print BB has taken their pictures off and now the fan lady has a plain pink t-shirt (when before it had S&A faces).
BBSuomi twitter follows only 11 people so far and one of them is Sauli. He is the only housemate on their list, other followed ones are tv channels, BB producer&director, host, two official fan tweeters etc. The BB twitter account also has a couple pictures uploaded for this year and one of them is the dog with 'Sauli' nametag. When tweeting the pic they wrote: "Look who stopped by in the videoshoot! It's BB-Sauli, isn't it?"
Sauli's connection to the programme as a previous winner will of course always be there and he was a celebrity after his win. After he moved to LA he became a standard news item both alone and with Adam > much more exposure (partly due to Adam and partly due to his jobs). In Tutka Sauli will discuss the new season promoting the show that way.
ETA One more thing about BB. Cristal Snow will be the new host on BB Extra, daily 30 min's programme. He was the owner/host/maitre d' or something like that of the club Jenny Woo, Adam met him in April 2010. At the same club Adam met Sauli in November 2010. The club exists no more, Cristal is doing music and a comedy video show for Ilta-Sanomat (~Tutka).

Thank you belle! That was interesting info about BB and Sauli (twitter follow, photos removed etc.) I wonder if he will receive any kind of payment for promoting BB through the Tutka videos and in his blog....guess we will never know, but I hope he does |

Sorry to spam the thread but the photo Sauli put in his blog holding his winning check from BB says 50,000 euros. I did the conversion and it only came to $62,640. I was hoping he had made more than that! But maybe the conversion rate was higher back when he won and it was actually more...

In 2007, when Sauli as in BB, the average salary in Finland was about 2700 euros/month, minus taxes and such. Compared to that, the amount was pretty big, but my no means did it make him rich. |
