My strategy (having gotten one good seat) is purchasing really good balcony seats (dead center, 2nd row on aisle) for the other two shows and then just waiting for the inevitable great seat to open down the line. The venue holds seats, seats are held for VIPs, friends etc. People can't come at the last minute and AMEX might start releasing their seats after the presale. I figure I have good seats if I can't get anything better and have nowhere to go but closer if I do. The lady at the theater said it feels more intimate than the Hard Rock - balcony is closer and the floor is graduated. At Hard Rock is was either floor seating in folding chairs or the balcony. BTW the box office will sell directly starting Saturday and might have their own held good seats. So don't panic. Hi Theosgma!!! Thanks so much for the info. Knowing that the floor section is graduated changes things and will help a lot with my decision. Was great running into you last summer. Wish we were going to be in Vegas the same week. Hi Vickkisusanne! Check page 16 of Monday's thread for photos of the theater seating. You can get a really good idea of the layout from these.

I finally was able to catch up on all the appearances and interviews today. Nearly 2 hours of Adam talking! Who cares if we already know a lot of it or if it's repetitious! Lol.
Best of luck to everyone planning to go to Las Vegas. I just hope to see a QAL sign or poster in Oslo when we're there at the beginning of June. We'll,pass back through there June 18 and fly back home the 19th. So close!

The graduation starts with the 200 sections which was described to me as a gentle graduation so the wheelchair epeople could see over people standing in sections 101 and 102 (which they are allowed to do. I asked : - )) and then the 300 sections are higher still. Then there is the balcony. So that is different then Hard Rock where the entire floor was one level. Made it really hard if you were in the middle of a section with tall people in front.

I gather that the floor 101 and 102 are flat though, right? So it appears from pics.

I still think they might add more seats on the floor at the last minute and that worries me a bit...could change some views.

They designated Row D in 102 and Row E in 101 as VIP Diamond though, charging more than any other row, so it would really be rude if they added any in front of those. They come with a backstage tour also. And wow for 50 seats on stage - those don't appear to be selling that well - especially the 5th row of them, I wouldn't want to sit there!
