But... Butt.....  .... It's like Summer's Eve or Massengill. Changing topics. I heard Kelly Clarkson's new song on my Top 40 radio station this afternoon. It was Cummulus(sp). Just goes to show that when you are an established artist, you don't need an add date. I started the day reading in the thread how Tommy thinks we are all gonna shit our pants and then finished it by reading lyrics about Adam's colon cleanse. It's a full circle kind of moment....and def time to call it a night. LOL. G'nite |

As i wait for Adam #2, I find myself going back to listening to
GNT, Master Plan, Down the Rabbit Hole, Broken Open, Aftermath , Voodoo, and Cant Let You go.. I loved FYE, but these songs that were on the periphery of FYE have so much potential. The songs are not radio ready, but they are awesome. I often wonder if Adam #2 will take this potential and make it commercially viable.
YMMV.
Cant't let you go gives me chills.

Okay, I'm going to contribute to this thread because I'm wasted. (anyone remember Carrie Underwood's Wasted song?) I like MacArthur Park. Sometimes. Didn't like Carrie singing it though. Seoulmate, I wanted to quote you but since you told me to drink wine and I obliged, I've lost my quoting ability. i've been here lurking, I do that well, I've been chuckling and bemoaning and grrr'ing as the posts dictate. I love this place. I'm just as anxious for Adam 2 as everyone else. I'm a little skeered though. Skeered it won't live up to his expectations. Not my expectations, but his. I don't want him to be disappointed. I want him to be over-the-top happy. I'll do everything in my power to help that along, requesting and buying his music. If angst could propel him to super stardom, I swear I have enough angst to jettison him to the moon. Geez, I'm going to stop now. There's a reason I don't post much.  |

He has covered Adam's Fever, IIHY, Soaked, and now Broken Open. Uploaded by AlexForriols on Sep 2, 2011 Question did he win Spanish Idol? Also he seems to have access to a pretty good studio. ETA: Ah so he was the runner up. He is REALLY good! I enjoyed all of those. Sounds like he was able to get his hands on the exact same backing tracks. I think they are the best covers of Adam I have heard. |
