Thanks so much metislight, marionm, ivaalambert and nic42 for your recaps and posts from several others who attended. (I had bookmarked Nic's post and just this morning had time to really get into it....http://adamtopia.com/post/871650 ) I LOVE recaps and appreciate you all taking the time to write about and share your experiences. I think it's general consensus that the Berlin show was a "best show evah". Q3 has a special crystal ball... :D It's always such a big pleasure for me to write my experience for you all and show you all,how it looked like from my point of view

metislight I wrote you couldn't stop squeeking? I haven't mentioned the instagram story at all...but maaaaaan what a TREAT...we were already high on the concert and then such a instagram story...it was too much!!! (yes I have downloaded it) I'm still on a high from the concert ms and thus wearing my Adam t-shirt And yes, it seems q3 must have a crystal ball OOOOpppppsss. I guess I mixed up the private convo with your atop post. I blame it on the post-concert daze. Now everyone knows about me " squeeeeingg" at that instagram post. I re-watched it too many times already

Adam posted. Please capture this pic! 😁 My capture: Jack: Look, Adam. After you posted my video of your boogie and tagged me, all you fans started to follow me. That’s mad! Adam (laughing): They muss think, we may be dating.
http://instagr.am/p/BkXZmqwh4D1 LOL! Adam is so cute. I always take him at his word when he says he is single (not in a serious relationship) until he says otherwise. He would know. However, that young man is cute and he is an actor I see. Just love seeing Adam happy and having a great time. He has friends all over the world.

I wanted to add to my review that Adam is confident in that the setlist has now practically all of Queen's most challenging songs to sing. If I had to chose one song as my favorite Queen song it would be " The Show must go on" and I am so happy that Adam feels he can do it on that level he wants it to be, show after show and that they haven't dropped it or done it occasionally, like they did in the tours before. I wanted to hear Adam sing SMGO from the moment I seen him for the first time on that youtube video of WATC on the next day after the Idol finale. Their MTV EMA opening with SMGO made me cry. So hearing SMGO live in Berlin after nine years of wanting to hear it live was overwhelming. Lucy is not one of the Adam songs I listen often. I loved the Queen version they are doing and it works well in the setlist. In Hamburg the queenies behind me were cheering and applauding loudly after Lucy. They liked it. Wonder if they will keep one Adam song in UK shows. Hope they do.

Sorry for my late review! Had a little time for all things to settle in my mind and got a little rest after the stress of traveling. So here is my Berlin and Hamburg review. BIG HUG for sharing this with us, metislight! I loved all the details and your observations - more is more! I am a recap addict - thanks to everyone who makes the effort to bring them to us.

Interesting. A person on Queen Online who consistently said QAL was not for him, but had no issue with other people who liked them, has changed his tune after seeing the latest videos. "Having recently viewed many of the uploaded QAL clips on YouTube, I have to confess that I believe this outing their best yet. And I do not mean just in terms of the production side of things or set list, etc. I mean more in the sense that they have really nailed it as a group. They seem more natural now and have really grown into something quite special.
I am a diehard. Yet I have always remained open-minded about QAL. And I have always stated that they are not for me, but good luck to all those who do dig them. Now I feel as if I would actually go and watch them perform - which I would never have done before. The music is the thing that does it...but, boy, does it help that it is performed by two absolute musical legends who can still play on fire and a lead singer with a voice that is in a class of its own (and I say that as a Freddie worshipper). Adam's vocals on this tour (well, the clips I have seen) are out of this world and - at times - quite, quite beautiful.
Also, whereas before I saw Queen and QAL as two very separate identities, I now see them more connected. Quite simply, it is the continuation of a legacy fronted by a man who has earnt his right to be up there on that stage singing those songs. Adam really has become part of the Queen family."And from one of his follow-up posts: "..and I just feel deep in my soul that Freddie would have adored Adam on stage, vocally and show-wise. Yep, the man has definitely earned a place as a part of this band."Here's the page in the thread (his posts are near the end). discuss.queenonline.com/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=8837&start=120So it's just not a few of Adam fans here noticing Adam's vocals improving. Which is why it was disappointing that he got a few bad reviews. I don't remember ANY on the last tour.

IMPORTANT NOTICE for atoppers going to Vegas Sept 14...Please go to the private member's QAL Vegas meet-up thread for more info and to sign interest! I have booked a meet-up in MGM Park's Bavette's Steakhouse and Bar for 10 for Friday, Sept 14. I had to book two tables as their one larger one is already booked..for both nights. Here is the confirmation...the reservations are under my name but I will try to remember to change that to Atop at a later time...perhaps the day before or of. If all wanting to get together that night could add their name to the following list, it will be easier to keep track. Perhaps if there are more they could book another table and mention we are all wanting to sit in close as possible proximity! As you can see...we are currently booked as two tables...one of 6 and the second of 4....sorry Read more: Link removed by Q3 -- go to Member's Only section/Vegas thread for more info. Links to these threads bypass need to be a member.Pardon posting this for everyone but the meetup threads are not seeing a lot of activity and any restaurant bookings need to be made pronto.... I am going to post the initial notice in the shout out area too as that is pinned while this page is out of sight by tomorrow

It's so great when diehard Queenies (God bless them!) actually cut through their loyalty to Freddie and accept Adam as the major talent that he is. This person posting his comments took a while to embrace Adam, but he finally recognized the amazing talent he was witnessing. I think lots of Queen fans feel this way. And it has nothing to with being disloyal to Freddie. Brian and Roger just got it right. They had the right instincts and chose the right person. Period.

As disappointing as some of those less than stellar reviews were, I also noticed that the comments from people who attended the concerts were pretty brutal to the reviewer. You can't please everyone so you just let it roll off.
