Is there no end to this man's range, virtuosity, bag of surprises? Talk about a rabbit hole, it could go on forever. How he keeps surprising me? Glory, absolute glory. I bow to his limitless skill, ownership, inventiveness and ability to move me. Thank you Adam, again and again for all the feels.

cassie? What was that note?
And lucky Antwerp to get such an exquisite and lovely Play the Game.
And lastly: yes, yes, Adam you can.
In a time of, imo, great negativity, (sorry to get sappy), Adam reminds me of this:
I'd rather learn from one bird how to sing than teach 10,000 stars how not to dance. e. e. cummings

I realize that Q&A wanted to bring some new songs to the setlist and mix it up a bit, but I really miss One Vision. I thought it was a grand opening. It was!
I loved One Vision. But I love Tear it up as well. It's an amazing opening - and Adam makes it perfect! Have you seen Tear It Up live yet? I will have to wait til Vegas, unless they change it up again.

Seems like a great opening. I hope you both can see the opening with TIU. It's SO GREAT! I saw it live in Berlin - I'm so happy I got to see this show live with my DH there. And my DH said it was one of the best QAL concerts he's ever seen. We both loved it very much!

Just my opinion, so don't jump on me,okay. I don't think Adam's voice is made for pop music. I have read quite a lot about how current pop music is designed and manufactured, and it is meant to be simple, imitative, with limited range and melodic complexity, and easy to sing along with. Adam is capable of dumbing down his voice to match the sounds of today's pop, but, as has been said before, it is like taking a Ferrari to the Piggly Wiggly store behind an old lady driving her Ford Pinto. Or like a thoroughbred racehorse giving pony rides at the carnival. Having a Ferrari's power inside his body, it would be both frustrating and boring not to use it, no matter how big a hit the song might become. Adam may WANT to be a pop singer, but that is not what his voice is naturally suited for. Queen has some of the most difficult and complex songs in the rock world, and Adam can sing any/all of them flawlessly. Now that he has them comfortably sitting in his body, he may even be starting to feel restless, wanting a greater vocal challenge. The truth is that Adam's voice is much more suited for classical music: opera, operetta, art song, oratorios and the like. That music is written for a voice like Adam's. Pop is not. And, if Adam finds a pop composer who writes for his voice, it will probably not appeal to the mass of pop consumers. Of course, there are some discerning, wise listeners like us who appreciate the sound, power, clarity, purity, and technique of Adam's voice, no matter what he is singing. He makes everything sound better. Adam can be successful singing many different styles. But a superstar singing today's pop and top 40? I don't see it happening. IMHO. YMMV.

His voice works really well with the complex, grand rock anthems and arena rock songs. Yet some of the diehard rock fans complain that Adam's voice is too clear, too "polished" for rock songs. I do sometimes wonder if Adam would have had a place in the opera world, his voice is well suited for it, but Adam as a person- can't see him there. He has to have the stage to himself. Just has to. He didn't belong in a chorus in musicals singing a few solo's here & there. And to have even lead roles in operas would not be enough since they too do a few areas and share the stage with others. He did learn how to blend in and is really good at that but it got boring for him. Adam doesn't belong anywhere specific but with someone extraordinary like Queen, who themselves didn't really fit in anywhere, certainly not among other "proper" rock bands marionm you wrote once that Adam has to create something his own like no one else, I think so too. Can't wait to hear the new music. He said it would be more like FYE, love the diversity on that album.

Angelina has told me for years that Adam could be world famous, at the top of the field if he had chosen to pursue a career in opera. But Adam does not like opera music.
