If you haven’t already, do yourselves a favor and browse Rob’s instagram. www.instagram.com/robgolton/His photos, including the one being discussed, are stellar.

ok, now, I have since tried to locate this, and watched the whole first segment, I know, it is such a hard job to do the research here, but someone has to do it, anyhow, there is no such jump. Also seems rather impossible. I feel kinda stupid now, but this is photo-shopped, probably from the moment right after 'all you fat-assed bitches...' Just thought I'd save others the time of search.
It's not a Photoshop. He is firmly on the ground on the side of the stage, yes probably doing the fat ass bitches thing. He is simply reflecting on the b-stage catwalk. In his reflection there is a break, which is the trapdoor. You can clearly see the heads of the people between the catwalk and the side Adam is standing at. That's how I see it anyway. Now please don't ask me, how he reflects from the other side of the stage on to the b-stage lol Or Cassie beat me to it... Of course, that was exactly the first question that came to mind though, lol. Right after I convinced myself that you guys are indeed right with Adam being over on that small part of the guitar body.
Interesting, what tricks light, reflection, and perspective can play with one's perception. Anyhow, I think it was successfully solved now. Sans reflection, I suppose. That one is still quite a bit of a mystery.

I think it is an optical illusion. He is standing on the stage left part of the guitar outline. Then the audience is between it and the guitar neck thrust part of the stage, where his reflection is captured. Not levitation, not photoshop, just the right angle for the shot. Yep, I agree, just optics and really tall shoes. You can see the end of the stage he is on but because you can't see where his shoes start and the telephoto compressing everything it looks like the stage he is on is higher even though it's not. Cool pic.
