Not an imitator, but respectful of the legacy with his own amazing voice! twitter.com/QueenWillRock/status/1015157660675641344Dee Snider @deesnider We are not defined by the children we once were, but by the men and women we have become. Catching up on the reviews and articles this morning. I hesitate to comment or sound critical but my head explodes when I read yet another missed opportunity to promote Adam, specifically the British GQ article at www.gq-magazine.co.uk/article/adam-lambert-interview-gay-prideI get it that the interview was booked to showcase Pride events but it is quite common for publicists or agents to lay out some ground rules or framework for the interview. In this case that could include references to his upcoming solo music, the rave reviews during this tour, or even his love of online shopping accompanied by some photos of different styles he's worn. After all GQ is known primarily as a men's fashion publication and his many looks make him more relatable. Once again his sexuality is discussed at length and his talent is barely mentioned. And OT . . After reading the GQ article, I got an email from the Nashville Symphony announcing Reese Witherspoon's Whiskey in a Teacup tour in September. . . it's conversation in the symphony hall there concerning her new book, her Southern style, decorating tips etc. The description even says "presented without orchestra." She also has a line of clothing, home decor items, etc as well as four retail locations selling her products. Read about the event at www.nashvillesymphony.org/ReeseWitherspoon

The QAL parts.
Star names at Glasgow Green as second weekend of festival gets under way by Holly Lennon
Crowds flocked to Glasgow Green to see Queen, above, and local talent including Texas with Sharleen Spiteri, right
GLASGOW had its socks well and truly rocked as the second weekend of TRNSMT festival got under way.
British rock gods Queen headlined the fourth day of the festival with help from American Idol star Adam Lambert.
The supergroup tore up the stage as Lambert showcased his famously impressive vocal range while donning a signature flamboyant outfit that Freddie Mercury would have been proud of.
Brian May’s custom-made guitar (designed and made with his father in the 1960s) provided inspiration for the stage on Glasgow Green.
The guitar-shaped stage measured in at an impressive 21m wide and 34m long, while the catwalk neck was 21m in length, enabling the band to be surrounded by hoards of fans.
Slipping into the shoes of one of the greatest frontmen in the world is no easy feat but Lambert proved that he is the best man for the job.
Hits including Killer Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Under Pressure and Another One Bites The Dust got the Glasgow crowd going after an impressive day of live music.
